The receptionist told me to come in at 12:30, I needed an urgent matter fixed, a wire came loose in my mouth from a permanent retainer. They had me fill out paperwork, sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes, go sit in the orthodontic chair. Then the doctor proceeded to tell me I had to get back out of the chair and go to the desk to find out how much it was before she did it even though I already said that I wanted to have it done because there was a wire flailing around in my mouth. They then told me that they couldn't find out the price so I could leave and they would call me. I told them that I had already left work early to make this appointment because it was an urgent matter so I would wait. Coincidentally enough, they gave me the price five minutes later and then told me that it was their lunch break so I had to come back. The level of unprofessionalism was something I had never experienced before. I explained my frustrations seeing as I had spoken to them on the phone and they told me that they would only be able to fit me in at that appointment, but then all of a sudden, now they have time to fit me in in the afternoon, which would've been preferable for me in the first place. The orthodontist herself came out and was rudely talking to the receptionists about how and when to book other appointments in front of me and other patients, which I also found extremely unprofessional. She was clearly not in a good mood and was not friendly and allowed it to affect her in her work place. I will most definitely not be returning to this office. read more
