The options of items seems endless, and there is stuff literally everywhere (hint: look up, down and under when shopping!). It may be even that shopping here as a youngster, I may have been influenced to enlist (which I did and served in two services, time in service 10+ years). Their prices are good, folks running the place are friendly and helpful. Whether you are looking for inspiration for decoration, training, prepping, survival or just like to look, make this place a part of tourism.

Now many stores like this still exist and it was a fun and interesting visit for me and my wife enjoy all of the general vintage items they also had. She especially liked a red velvet cape she purchased. We just noticed the shop as we left the Denny's in Mojave, it was just before closing so we didn't have time to thoroughly see everything the shore has to offer so we will be back again soon. The fellow at the front counter was very friendly and helpful and I look forward to our next visit when we'll plan enough time to see everything. I wore long sleeves & had a hat on. Well, the backs of my knees & upper calves burned! Strange place for sunburn, but I was looking for desert camo pants I could cut into capris, to block the sun from hitting that area today. (Leggings would be painful pressing against it) I sorted thru stacks and looked at a lot of pairs of BDU's, but finally found a pair in Army and a pair in Navy Marpat. I settled on the lighter weight Navy ones. $20 well spent (after I cut them off) They don't look so attractive, but they are protecting my calves & knees from a worse burn. Great shop!
