When the consultation was set to discuss my options / what was found in the MRI.  Dr. Patel made me feel so COMFORTABLE and I was so RELIEVED to know he found the problem which was a very large tumor on the brain, after him explaining all what would happen, how long for the procedure and recovery time I knew I was in the BEST HANDS possible. Dr. Patel has a CALMING demeanor, POSITIVE attitude, was very down earth, did not beat around the bush of the pros and cons of my procedure/treatment. His organization and his team was INCREDIBLE! They all were so efficient, you could feel the TEAM was like a family and made sure you felt a part of that family from beginning to end. My surgery 10/26/20. Rehab/ Recovery is going very well! I am looking forward to my NEW Lease on LIFE! THANK YOU NORTH CENTRAL NEUROSURGERY FAMILY!

I was worried because I know how addicts are thought of, but my first appointment really set me at ease. One of the first things Dr. Carbone said to me was that he wasn't there to judge me and that enough people had done that to me and punished me. Dr. Carbone was right! It's nice to be with a doctor that understands. I knew Doctor Carbone was my kind of doctor anyway because he has Marvel and DC all over the place in his office. I also want to mention that the staff is also amazing! There's not one rude person that works for Dr. Carbone and that's very rare.

He came back 5 minutes later and went to another room to work on a patient. These sessions now take about 10 minutes each so if I stayed for my appointment which would then have begun at about 850 am it would have screwed up my entire day. I walked out and won't be returning. Doctors think they can get away with over booking and ignoring people whom also are very busy. Real doctors can get away with that because people go to them when they are ill and need help. Chiropractors don't have that luxury, if they can't stick to a schedule then maybe they shouldn't be in business.

Five minutes of web research disclosed dozens of others whose drug screening missed the Butrans, and a study by the US NIH stating that only 44.7% tests were correct! Now I've found that reviews of his practice are 5 to 1 against him, most finding him arrogant, without compassion, and indifferent. I'd have to add ignorant to the other descriptive terms now that he's ejected me to the curb, to face opioid withdrawal cold turkey, after decades of opioid prescriptions. I, as several others that I know of, had to go to the ER after 'treatment' by him, spent almost a week there, and he refused to visit, right across the street from his office. I later learned that he has NO affiliations & no authorization with that hospital, which is counter to his information posted on many of the reference pages where he is listed. From the gov national institutes of health: "Urinalysis failed to detect buprenorphine in 44.7% of the samples." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3284030/

This was a better experience than I could have expected or hoped for! Dr. Yoder is very professional. The questionnaire you do for ADHD is very personal and yet I never felt judged at any time. During our telehealth session (That's what I think they are called anyway.) , he continued with the next question as if everything I said was perfectly natural. I felt seen & heard. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. (Not used to that at all!) I will be able to start ADHD medicine soon and I'm excited to get my extreme highs down and be able to function without feeling so bad about myself. I was initially frustrated that I couldn't speak to a receptionist, as we all know what it's like to wonder if we can expect a call back at all from most places. Don't be upset if you have to leave a voice message. They WILL call you back and will treat you with kindness & respect. I would not hesitate to use Feathergill & Associates in the future.
