When dropping off my daughter's jeans, I waited for about 5 minutes before I finally said, "hello?" She said she's be with me in a minute, but it was almost another 5. She was laying a dress out on the floor, not in the middle of sewing a seam at the sewing machine. I figured she was just having a bad day and remained pleasant and polite.
Unfortunately, pickup was worse. I was standing and waiting, a couple came in behind me. They finally sat down on some chairs because it was taking so long for anyone to come out. When she finally did, she pointed at them and asked what they wanted. After they were done, another lady came in with some zippers, so she averted her attention to her. Then the lady left and without acknowledging me, she went behind the counter and hung the zippers up on the wall one by one. When she was finished, she finally waited on me. She was then rude and interrupted me when I was telling her my name and spelling it for her. It took her almost 5 more minutes to find the item. She walked back and forth looking at the "done" items hanging on the wall and mumbling to herself while she shook her head. It was bizarre to say the least.
I don't know if she thought I was someone else who had given her trouble in the past or what... either way, the customer service was very poor.
To top it off, my daughter went to put her jeans on a couple of days ago and they did not re-sew the hole at the bottom they had ripped open to put the new zipper in. You can see her underwear when she puts them on. I guess I'll try to sew that up by hand...
I have to say, the convenience of having it in the mall really wasn't worth it. read more
