Prices were no cheaper than any place else. I decided to try her because my regular place is always three weeks and $20 for everything. I'm going back to them. LATER- It gets worse. She didn't fix the small rip in my dress, only shortened straps. And my mom was mad about her pants hem. K just folded over an inch and sewed a ring around it. Didn't cut off the extra material.

I bought some pants from a local men's store that shall remain nameless. The job they did on the hem which was "included", was an atrocity. This place fixed it . With zero sewing skills,…read moreI've brought my clothes here for everything from a button that's fallen off to tears in jeans to my wife having new pants hemlines shortened. We've always been pleased with the results, never had to bring something back because it wasn't done right the first time. Turn around times are reasonable (though if something's broken I can't wear it anyway, so what's the rush?). The same woman (who may be the owner) is usually there when I come in and though I don't come by frequently, seems to remember me having asked about my young daughter. Their hours are until 5:45 pm on weekdays. It's nice when a business realizes that a 5 pm close time is a huge hassle for those who regularly work until 5. I stopped at 4 stars because I've never had dry cleaning done there, so I'll have to try that out before I give more stars since that's half of their business.

I don't live in Chippewa and have to drive a considerable distance to get there because there aren't any other dry cleaners closer to our home. Forcing me to take time out of my work day to pick up dry cleaning is not a good move on their part, nor is not having hours that I can count on, especially given the drive I need to make to get there. If it's an employee issue, then the owner should be covering those hours until they hire someone. They also had a difficult time finding my dry cleaning when I came to pick it up. Thankfully I had my order stub and we found it by the number instead of my last name. It had been misfiled under the wrong letter. As this was my first time using them, I was not left with a good impression. Life is stressful enough I don't need to worry if the dry cleaner is going to lose my clothes or having to take time off from work to pick them up. I'm looking for another dry cleaner.
