She cut into the front of the crewneck, rolled the material left & sewed a hem. Most tailor's would have matched the color of the original crewneck material & then made a new V-neck. I have had many crewneck tee altered to V-necks. Because nobody from Sew Quick Sewing was there I had to leave my tee shirt with a woman from Queen's.

We've always been pleased with the results, never had to bring something back because it wasn't done right the first time. Turn around times are reasonable (though if something's broken I can't wear it anyway, so what's the rush?). The same woman (who may be the owner) is usually there when I come in and though I don't come by frequently, seems to remember me having asked about my young daughter. Their hours are until 5:45 pm on weekdays. It's nice when a business realizes that a 5 pm close time is a huge hassle for those who regularly work until 5. I stopped at 4 stars because I've never had dry cleaning done there, so I'll have to try that out before I give more stars since that's half of their business.

When I picked up my order a couple of weeks ago I noticed a sign that said they were now going to…read morebe closed on Saturdays until sometime in mid-October. I don't live in Chippewa and have to drive a considerable distance to get there because there aren't any other dry cleaners closer to our home. Forcing me to take time out of my work day to pick up dry cleaning is not a good move on their part, nor is not having hours that I can count on, especially given the drive I need to make to get there. If it's an employee issue, then the owner should be covering those hours until they hire someone. They also had a difficult time finding my dry cleaning when I came to pick it up. Thankfully I had my order stub and we found it by the number instead of my last name. It had been misfiled under the wrong letter. As this was my first time using them, I was not left with a good impression. Life is stressful enough I don't need to worry if the dry cleaner is going to lose my clothes or having to take time off from work to pick them up. I'm looking for another dry cleaner.
