Main Systems isn't a place you'll want to ever go to - but this is because you don't ever want your computer to break. I've experienced plenty of IT repair shops in my time and this one on Street Lane seems quite similar to the others I have come across. I went with a friend whose laptop was poorly to see what these clever guys could do. Sure enough, they worked out the problem soon enough, let her know how they were going to fix it, and then, because there's no other option and computers are so important in everyone's life, charged an over-the-top price. Dealing with Main Systems is a complete nightmare. They are so disorganised it's untrue. I brought my Epson printer into them for a simple repair for blocked heads and, to be honest its not only the printer that has blocked heads- the staff at Main Systems do as well! Why? Well, they told me the printer was fixed and they had done a test run and it was not, as when I got it home, it was still printing wrongly. So, back it went! They gave me a date when it would be repaired and it still wasn't done when I called to check. They tell me they'll call me back and never do, and when, after continually chasing them and asking if it was ready, when I turn up at the shop it was not! To top it all I get it home and there's no power cable. They hadn't even the organisational skills to bundle my gear together for collection. So, it was arranged that THEY dropped my power cable at my home within 10 mins of their premises. No one arrived and they hadn't the common decency to call to say they wouldn't be coming. Highly recommend! I recently dropped and cracked my laptop screen, after looking on Google I found these guys. One phone call later and I was assured that my laptop could be repaired and it wouldn't cost the earth! I booked in my laptop for the following day and was told it would be repaired within 1 hour. After dropping my laptop in and having a coffee at the local shop I headed back to the shop after only 45 mins, which wasn't a problem as it had been finished. The screen looks exactly like the old one and you wouldn't even know it had been replaced. They charged me £68 which was a lot cheaper than buying a new laptop and less than I imagined. read more

Would not leave your computer with these guys, previous offices were at street lane leeds and shop was entered by land lord by force due to rent arrears. Would seriously not risk leaving your computer with a shop who at any moment could have the locks changed and your computer stuck inside! Also if they play fast and loose with their rent would dread to think what they are doing when they repair your laptop! read more
