My experience with the in patient crisis units has not been great. They will release a patient when…read morethe patient is not safe to leave and have poor follow up options. The psychiatrist we saw on an out patient basis ended up refusing to continue to see my daughter because she had drug issues. She would not follow all of the psychiatrists prescriptions and would take her own meds on the side. This is a drug addiction issue, something not uncommon with mental health patients, yet the psychiatrist's response was, I can't see you any more. She has since left Linder. On two occasions Linder recommended residential programs out of state, neither of which were appropriate. She ended being removed from both. It would seem they are unable to know if an outside center is a good fit or not. From the outside, it's quite impressive. However, I did not get the sense that this is a top facility. Should you be interested in Sibcy House, for further diagnostic purposes, you will be told that you will pay up front, $50k for thirty days residential, and they do not accept insurance, but will help you with applying to your insurance company. What exactly do they offer for $12,500 a WEEK? Their schedule reveals yoga, group therapy, music therapy, as well as testing. People who consider places like Sibcy House are desperate. Parents will pay anything for their mentally ill child. And they are there to charge for it. I would strongly suggest they go into great detail about what, exactly they are offering for your $50k. Read the reviews here. Their services appear to be lacking. And read their responses to reviews "We are so sorry for your feelings. Did you contact our patient advocate?" Their marketing is more important than their care. They take advantage of those in desperate need. All that said, and it's obviously not positive, the other options in greater Cincinnati are much worse. Perhaps someday we'll have a top diagnostic and treatment center for mental health in Cincinnati. It's sad that we don't.

As I tried to get used to life at the center I was confused constantly. No windows, no clocks, no way to know where I need to be or when. I accidentally stayed in my room too long as I had no clue what time it was or the schedule and in result got screamed at 'to come out now' and threatened. I cried! I was terrified already and this idiot staff screamed at me over being late to damn lunch. It was ridiculous. I hope you can learn from this as other than this awful incident I was treated well and respected. But seeing how all the staff just allowed that woman to scream at me without even reacting was disgusting.

If you or anyone you know has a child who needs a therapist, please do not choose this office even if you were told he was the best in the area for certain types of therapy. Back in 2016 my insurance changed and they say I didn't notify them. I think that I did, but either way visits were rejected by my insurance. I gave them new insurance but due to issues there they are claiming now, nearly 3 years later, that some visits were rejected by the new insurance. They say they billed me through early months of 2017. I can only guess that I was trying to get it resolved through insurance at the time? I am not sure, because it was 2+ years ago. Now, 2 - 3 years later, they send me a new bill. Services that were originally $165 I received a bill for $265. Two weeks later I receive a notice from a collection agency that I owe $575. I call them and talk to them and they say I owe $375. All on services rendered 3 years ago. I am not saying I don't owe them money for services rendered, and I did pay the $375. However it seems like the business office is managed very poorly. The owner is who I talked to and she was unconcerned that they dropped the issue for 2 years and now that the time is passed and it's very unlikely that I could work through any insurance issues that they might take the fees off. I would not recommend using them, not because the therapy service isn't good, but because the business office seems poorly managed and has no issue billing for services years after the fact. Legally they are able to due to statue of limitations etc... but it doesn't make it a good business practice.

AVOID!!! I know how…read moredifficult it is to find good care for a child. This is not your place. I was called by the center because I was on a wait list when a new counselor came on board named De'Asia. She was 30 minutes late to our first appointment and the second appointment she was so 40 minutes late. By the time she came into the waiting room I explained we didn't even have time for the appointment anymore. We ended up doing a 15 minute appt anyway and she had no problem billing insurance and myself the full amount. Then the following month my husband was coming off active duty military orders. We were in between insurance for 1.5ish weeks. I called and cancelled the appointment explaining to the secretary that our insurance was cancelled for awhile. Apparently there was a miscommunication because the secretary cancelled the appt in a day, but not the one 2 days late. De'Asia charged me $50.00 for the "no show". I called to discuss this with her and went around in circles. She of course had no intention of not collecting her $50. I asked her who else I could speak to, she told me to call the office manager Brenda, I believe. I left a voicemail for Brenda, weeks go by, no response. So then, I get another bill for an ADDITIONAL $30 because my HSA debit card, for the insurance I no longer even have, didn't go through for the $50 "No show" they tried to charge. So again, I call the office and leave a message for Brenda or the manager. Brenda calls back and leaves me a message saying I need to talk to De'Asia, not her, when De'Asia is the one who told me to talk to her!!!! On top of this drama, my insurance was billed under some other therapists name because De'Asia apparently wasn't set up as an insurance provider. And I left a similar review on the companies FB page and now their FB reviews are gone, imagine that! What a nightmare.
