Placed an order via the telephone with Emily Allsopp on Friday 3rd of February 2023. On Monday the 6th of February I decided to seek a refund and cancel the order. I called at 9AM no answer as they had not opened their telephone systems from the out of office voicemail. After ten mins they answered at 0910! Refused to issue refund due to manager approval. I kept chasing the entire day via phone and email. Made them aware of the " The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013" Emily called back at 1651! Apparently the management were in meetings all day. Unbelievable for a furniture retailer in my opinion! Refusing to issue a refund and trying offer me a credit note. I will provide updates going forward. A truly horrible company to deal with you have been warned. Proceed to deal with them at your peril. Don't get blindsided by their prices. read more

Maybe it was because I was dragged here against my will, I'm unsure, but furniture shops really aren't my cup of tea. Regardless, my mom had her heart set on two new sofas for the house and she had the wonderful pleasure of my company.. From the outside, I wasn't too impressed, unlike my mom, I'll ask a million and one question before purchasing something, especially when it costs more than a tenner, or in this case a few hundred quid. Fortunately on our visit, there was a sale, but I still had my doubts over a furniture shop... On Broad Street. I began to interrogate a member of staff, which in all fairness was of no use at all, but he was as helpful as could be and thankfully, my mom knew which one she wanted, we paid for it and left. Based on Broad St, this is a great haven for fitting out your new pad or home. The furniture available in here is tailored for the slightly up market trend, and it's not exactly cheap as chips! Although they currently have a 30% discount on, and you can save a fair bit off the price tag on the full price items, it's worth going in even if just for a browse. They offer everything that you could possibly need for your home, from tables and chairs, dining tables, sofas, cabinets, lamps, mirrors, lighting arrangements and chandeliers, with some elegant designs and styles. Be a bit careful as you walk round. Some of the stuff is quite closely packed and you feel like your foot is going to catch on something or more likely, that you'll fall over. It's nice how the furniture is arranged as if it were in an actual real room setting. Some good ideas if your planning a makeover. Good service and helpful staff. read more

What a scam! We went to the "private" £5 million furniture warehouse sell- off because the invite listed some amazing deals, eg the Halo Designer chair for £102 instead of £1865 (according to them, you can find it substantially lower elsewhere). Yeah, right. The chair was there, but now for about £700. When I pointed out this discrepancy to one of the salespersons, I was told they only had 1 at that price and that it was just sold. So exactly the same chair now costed more than 6x more. (Of course, many, if not all, great deals listed on the invite were sold ("sold"?) a few hours after opening times.) This kind of highly deceptive advertising left behind such a bad taste that we decided never to buy anything from there. read more

Leather suite NOT real leather! Purchased a 2 & 3 seater settee from Lee Longlands 6 1/2 years ago in the belief that it was leather. As sections had started to crack and peel I decided to have them renovated and discovered that the back, sides and under armrests were PLASTIC!!!! Purchased for £1,000 in half price sale. Wouldn't have bought at any price if I had known it was PLASTIC. We contacted Lee Longlands on 23rd July and received the following response:.... I have looked into this for you. Unfortunately, this manufacture has a one year guarantee and further to this the order does not specify leather. I would urge you to contact the Furniture Ombudsman on 0333 241 3209 for their view of this situation. If they feel we have in some way, acted outside of their code of conduct, we will review their findings & recommendations accordingly. Customer Service is of the utmost importance to us & we follow the Furniture Ombudsman's guidelines strictly..... The receipt doesn't state the material and guarantee was only 12 months, so unfortunately I have no recourse against this cowboy outfit!. So be warned, if you are sold a suite as leather, ensure it states leather on the receipt, but if you want a guarantee longer than 12 months, don't go to Lee Longlands!!! read more

Less than impressed with their after sales service. Cannot speak to anyone UNLESS it is a sales person. Bought a bed messed about with delivery then the bed doesn't fit together well. Emailed Lee longlands, no response, leave messages for after sales no response, reviews on facebook, no response along with others raising similar issues. Will NEVER buy from them again. Furniture showroom may be lovely but they do not appear to care about customer care and yet customers are or should be their best sales person. read more

I love this place! I had walked past it hundreds of times and one day, having exhausted all the chains looking for a decent wardrobe that didn't take 12 weeks to be delivered, I go in. The furniture you see through the window is not always to my taste, it's a little too modern. Not in far too bog standard Dwell way but in that it's very much for the masses. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I like to find pieces that are w little bit more quirky. To my amazement, I find that if go right through the store and round to the left, there is a room of 'sale' items (it gets better!) that are odds and sods. For example, I have seen tall chest of drawers that are round, brightly painted chest of drawer, gigantic mirrors and all reasonable priced. Their standard furniture in the main room is of a high standard, which you pay for but when they have offers, you could get anything up to 50-70% off so it's well worth keeping an eye on. They have parking behind the store too. read more

Poor service Put through an order on the 8th may 2016 still waiting for delivery on 22nd june 2016. Now it has been passed the 4-6 weeks delivery time and they still havent recieved product from the suppliers. Even though this was the status 3 weeks ago. It is always difficult to find furniture that not only looks good but can last for years whilst withstanding the wear and tear of a growing family. At Lee Longlands, the home furnishings collection really did leave me spoilt for choice. Beautiful beds, stunning sofas and the classiest dining tables ever! read more

Very poor aftersales service. Two different items of furntiure have been delivered damaged and we have been promised replacements for weeks. Given that one of these items took 16 weeks to be delivered anyway, we are not holding out much hope and feel we have wasted our money. Absolutely rubbish customer service. read more

Bought a lamp from them to have it delivered to the store. Almost 7 weeks past and heard nothing from them. Called and was told the lamp had arrived but didn't know when, no apology on why nobody called. Went to pick up the lamp and told them that nobody called, an asian man - possibly the manager just said he doesn't know why and again no apology, nothing. We questioned if there is any system in place, he just said he doesn't know! He went back and fetched a package for us. When we got back home and opened the package, it was only part of the lamp. Called the store straight away and the same guy answered the phone, rude rude rude! He apologised for the missing part and still said nothing why nobody called. He just said what do you want me to do?! We're getting a refund! Worst customer service ever. read more

Very poor customer service when things go wrong. Bedroom furniture arrived - delivery men were great but there was damage to one door and the 4 doors didn't match. The delivery men reported the problems to customer service and we heard nothing for 1 week - we chased and then we just had excuse after excuse - when we managed to get hold of somebody they were not helpful and we finally contacted the manager at the Leamington Branch and he failed to follow-up - finally after 10 weeks we should receive replacement doors - however we have had to chase read more
