Korean, by Korean in Toulouse. Korean fusion. A definite must-try while visiting, as the store they…read moretell is one of old and new. The freshness of cucumber gazpacho during a balmy summer day, gives a highlight to summers in the city in Toulouse. And, why we enjoy the fresh offering in our gardens, and the hint of spice literally spiked to taste the old world. KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN! Yes... thanks a no brainer.. spicy, sweet gooey morsels. Yet what brings this to new is the delightful presentation and flavors making your yearning for more. Korean hot pot with beef tartare. Probably my favorite. Sultry sizzling hot pot of rice. Adorned with seasoned beef tartare perfectly chilled, and quite tasty once you do tossing of everything thoroughly of the bowl the meat slightly seers. Totally delicious. So delicious that everyone else in my group wanted to finish my dish. I didn't mind because it gave me an opportunity to taste everyone else's food A spicy pork dish was delicious as well! Perfectly seasoned slight hint of heat and thoroughly tender. Each morsel was coated lightly and it seasoning gave it a vibrant color. The dessert was a little bit odd yet still flavorful I enjoyed it, slightly sweet. With the texture of a Tiramisu it had a nice balance for such a rich meal. A great stop and must try...

With the prices they charge for the meals, they should provide this traditional/cheap appetizer that is basic for any Korean restaurant. For me, the banchan is the best measure of a Korean restaurants hospitality/authenticity/quality. This is the first Korean restaurant I visited in the world that charged extra for Kimchi (from Seoul - Buenos Aires). I asked for some Kimchi for my Bibimbap and they charged me 2.5 EUR for two small leafs...also they did not tell me they were going to charge me for kimchi until the bill arrived..so cheap.. come on business can't be that bad you need to squeeze every last drop of blood out of the customers... They also charged me extra for my appetizer that was included in my menu set. It was an extra 1 EUR, no big deal $$ wise, but very rude to be adding extra charges without notifying the client. A basic Bibimbap/appetizer and splitting a bottle of Suju costs around 40 EUR/person. Price to quality/service ratio very poor. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place. The other Korean restaurant in the center is much more authentic and costs less. I now understand why the restaurant was so empty.

The…read morefood was good, service fast, portions huge, presentation 5 star worthy, bathrooms spotless, and the outdoor seeing was perfect. Good for groups. So why knock them a star? Parking sucks and their sushi rolls are big and loose and a little wierd. Yummy, but different. This is not the place to come if you are a sushi snob. It is the place for you to come if you want to liven up your regular eat out menu and if you like or are interested in Japanese/Korean/viet fusion. Our server was the owners daughter and she was super sweet and attentive. It is now our our monthly restaraunt rotation.

The portions are huge, with 15€ rolls that are so big you can barely eat all of them. I don't recommend ordering a menu and adding any sushi. We always order too much and never finish it all. Everything is beautifully presented with flowers, leaves and whole prawns as garnishes. The starter salad is amazing and contains sashimi, tempura fish and vegetables, a potsticker and more. It is almost a meal in itself. The rolls are a bit disappointing as they are not tightly rolled and tend to fall apart. I recommend sticking to the menus. The sashimi and the chicken Katsu are both good.
