If I had to say one thing unsatisfactory, it was that I planned on using my HSA account to pay my bill and they told me they charge a 3.5% fee, with the cost of a Crown, this was not a little amount. However, I would still use him again, just make sure I bring cash.

The back tooth had been over filled into my sinus cavity causing issues for years that no one could figure out. Due to this situation, I ended up not only having to get that tooth removed by a specialist, but also having to get sinus surgery due to the damage caused by this situation. I'm still on the mends after almost a year, but assume the healing process may take time since I have been dealing with this for over 10-years. If it was not for Dr Patacca I may still be dealing with these issues. I appreciate his honesty and professionalism, as I learned dentist are not supposed to be handling certain procedures.

After avoiding the dentist for 10 years because of a terrible/creepy experience with a dentist in…read moresouth amherst, I reluctantly went to Dr. Jacko's office. I had been having some pain in one tooth and went into the appointment pretty sure that they were going to have to pull every tooth out of my head and that I would have to pay with my first born child. I cannot even begin to express what a wonderful experience I had with the staff in Dr. Jacko's office. Within the first 5 minutes of the check up, Mrs. Bailey -- the hygienist-- had put all of my fears to rest. She gave me lots of positive feedback about my teeth and was SO FRIENDLY and just awesome. There was ZERO pain the entire visit. Seriously, somehow she even managed to do the part of the appointment where they stick the metal pick in between your tooth and gum without making it hurt AT ALL. Dr. Jacko was equally awesome. After looking at my x-rays it was determined that I only had two little cavities that can easily be fixed. Keep in mind that the south amherst dentist had, ten years prior, told me that I needed all kinds of crowns and root canals, etc. I was able to see the x-rays that Dr. Jacko's office took, and my mind was blown. I didn't even have to pay anything because my insurance covers it! This was a fabulous experience. I cannot believe that I just associated a trip to the dentist with the word fabulous, but the shoe fits.
