The shelves are slightly in disarray and the staff were nonchalant. The bread isle was barren and all the veggies have wilted. Still all the bells and whistles of a full-service Carrefour, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Customers are rushing around, clerks are all over the place but they can't help because they are new at work or they can't speak English. The place is like a beehive with self- check. They do not sell pharmacy items like aspirin or cough lozenges. Everything is French produced here. Superb place to purchase France's food souvenirs to take home. Reasonable prices.

As I am living in Lyon and need basic household items, I am finding this Carrefour City quite agreeable to my wallet. TAKE YOUR OWN BAGS. Quite understandably they charge for plastic bags.
