The leisure centre has much to offer such as two swimming pools; one large one for adults and a smaller one for children and teaching swimming lessons. Also within the centre is a large sports hall for football fanatics for 5 a side football as well as badminton, basketball and many other activities. The fitness suite is brilliant. Its all brand new and up to date and has over 100 stations and its nice and cool to so you don't get too warm when your working them muscles! Outside they have a fantastic synthetic turf ground for 6 a side football which is popular with many people. Not only that but they have dance studios, squash courts, spas, saunas and a relaxation area!! It is amazing. If you are looking to get fit or just want to participate in salsa classes or boxercise, Copley Recreation Centre is an ideal place to start whilst not breaking the bank.

The gym facilities are excellent and there is a range of equipment and activities for everyone, including a full timetable of classes. We particularly enjoy the swimming facilities. There is a large indoor pool with clean well maintained changing rooms. There are steam rooms and whirlppol spas. The best bit for us is the outdoor swimming area. All safe and supervised with views of the canal. I can highly reccomend a visit to this gym and we have had a family membership for a long while which we have certainly had good value. The swimming area also consists of a viewers seating area, a slide, and a 'rapids' area. Swimming lessons are also available, as well as options such as 'ladies only' night. Waterworld also has a fully-equipped gym with changing rooms and showering facilities. The gym currently uses the TechnoGym products, and all are in great condition. The gym isn't huge, but caters for everybody, and all staff are helpful and friendly. There is also a studio where exercise classes take place. Classes are very varied, from yoga to dance, and all instructors are friendly and helpful. Something to suit all tastes. When not exercising, Waterworld also have a cafe just inside at the reception area. This is a great local facility, and if the changing rooms were a little more loved, updated, cleaner, and tidier, I would have no hesitation to give Waterworld 5 out of 5.

The centre also offers free access to all Liverpool students up to the age of 17 under the 'Futures' scheme playing a vital role in the community, bring local people together, and improving health and fitness to all ages. Although it is a compact place, I would definitely recommend a swim here, especially if you've got kids as they will love a splash. The centre has a welcoming feel to it and is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the more dated leisure centres within Merseyside.

Numerous fitness classes also are held.There is a support worker available who can offer informal one-to-one advice on a variety of issues. Students from the local college offer hairdressing at reduced rates and there is a cafe serving healthy freshly-prepared meals, again at a very reasonable cost. If you live locally, it is well worth investigating for yourself what the Millenium Centre has to offer.

I could rattle through the facilities but I won't. What I will say is that they include 12 tennis courts, 6 inside and 6 outside as well as two large swimming pools, one inside one outside. Every time I set foot inside this gym I feel like a kid in a candy store. There is so much to do and it's so spacious it is a perfect environment to workout. However it is very pricey, and from experience it is notoriously difficult to cancel your membership. The amount of money you pay on a monthly basis you'd have to practically live there to get your money back. Verdict I'd say this is a quality gym, but overpriced!!!

The tennis courts look great (but I haven't tried them yet). The changing rooms are spotlessly clean. The pool is large and rarely busy and there is an outside pool.
