We have a little senior guy who loves other doggo's but doesn't have any teeth to defend himself, so it has been really difficult to find a boarder for him to be safe. Even having friends who he is familiar with staying at the house hasn't worked out. Insert Doggy Lama. We did a trial run of boarding with Molly, and he passed so we were able to schedule a weeklong vacation knowing he would have the best time. He got to hang out with some other senior dogs and have long walks in the wilderness and lots of doggo time. Molly kept us posted daily with pictures of our little man being a dog. Yesterday she approached a large German Shepherd at the dog park without any trepidation and appropriately picked up on social cues with the Shepherd's twin titan came over to check the scene out as well. She walks much better (definitely not perfect!) on leash than before which helps my anxiety and her safety. I wanted somewhere she could feel cozy (not stuck in a kennel for most of the day!) and get plenty of loving attention and exercise. After a few lackluster interviews with sitters I found on our town's facebook group, I got a recommendation for the Natural dog. I was immediately drawn by their pictures of their pack on hikes in hills and appreciated the quick, thorough response I got to my inquiry. We scheduled a trial night to make sure our girl would be a good fit for an extended stay (we loved that they did this check) and I could tell right away from seeing Paul interact with her that she was going to be in good hands - he is definitely a bit of a dog whisperer.
