I have a BA and can tell you, I would highly recommend New Horizons to anyone who is thinking about getting a new career. I've been to a lot of schools in my years. But none hold a candle to New Horizons Tampa. The reason why I say this, during my time at NH. I've had some major life hardships from a car accident to major depression. And everyone at NH went beyond what any school should do. They are truly genuinely compassionate and caring but students. Not money. The instructors Devin Ogden, Robert Campbell, Matt Grimes were prepared, engaging and always approachable. Even the front desk Brianne Bradford & Jade Lea-Wellington. Have help beyond the scope of their jobs Especially Bobby Ceklic (General Manager) you wouldn't believe how he is always approachable. And on point getting things done. Even if I was thinking I wasn't that important, but he showed me that even I mattered. Madison Haltiwanger Thxs for always making sure we get all or labs, books, and extra help. Scott MacDonald the man that sold me into this awesome School and always there through the good times and bad. Always following up on me. Debbie Haugland the miracle woman. She can take a horrible resume and turn it into a royal resume. And fulfilling all students with a match of a dream job. Thank you New Horizons of Tampa. For making New Horizons when I saw no horizons for me.

I recently completed the in-person PMP bootcamp with Project Management Academy in Tampa, and I'm…read moreso grateful for the experience. I passed my PMP exam on the first try! Our instructor, Michael Giacalone, was fantastic. He's incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely invested in helping everyone truly understand the material, not just memorize it. He breaks down complex concepts in a way that actually makes them stick and builds confidence along the way. The Project Management Academy platform was also a huge part of my success. They have quizzes on all the different sections, study materials, and practice exams (both timed and untimed) that helped me prepare strategically and get comfortable with the pacing of the real exam. Being able to simulate exam conditions made a big difference. If you're preparing for the PMP, I highly recommend their in-person training, especially if you have the opportunity to learn from Michael in Tampa!

He…read morehas been doing this for a very long time and is extremely knowledgeable and professional (though his teaching style is a bit dry). I took the PMP exam on Feb 5, 2026 and passed with flying colors (AT in all three domains). Having come into the course with zero PMP/PMI textbook knowledge, I think this bootcamp was an excellent "baptism of fire" to catapult me into the world of PMP and prepare me for the 2.5 month study journey ahead. PMA also provides an online platform with practice exams, quizzes, handouts, etc. I found a lot of their online material was outdated in terms of exam content (for example, they have a lot of practice questions in there involving advanced calculations that the exam will never ask you to do) and some of the questions get repetitive and recycled often. I ultimately had to rely on/lean on other resources outside of PMA in order to study effectively. In any case, if you are brand new to PMP/PMI content, I would recommend taking an in-person bootcamp such as this one to get started.

I went here to enroll my daughter for GED classes and were met by some really great employees in the front office who explained the whole process and cost to us. They made the process quick and painless. The campus we are using is on Simpson Road across from the jail. It has easy access and a large parking lot with multiple handicapped spots. There is also a bus stop down the road. They also offer several certificate programs that we are going to look into next. Great place to the community.

I am a student who has disabilities and it seems like after I've made my disability known, things only got worse. I hurt my back with a herniated disk, however when I let my accessibility officer know, back on the 24th of June, I have yet to hear back from her. Then, when I went to class still injured, the professor was completely unaccommodating. She made it a point to help everyone but me in the classroom, and I raised my hand on 3 different occasions and even called out to her and she acted like she couldn't see nor hear me. Then, after I figured out the assignment on my own, there was only 15 minutes left of class, I told her I finished all the assignments for the entire week, and I was already frazzled from having to figure it out on my own, and I asked her since I was done if I could leave, she said no and to sit down that if I left, then everyone would want to leave, too.I have accommodations stating I can leave to have a 10-15 minute break which I did not take I worked through the breaks to get my assignments done especially after she ignored me, she still wouldn't let me leave. So I literally had to sit there for 15 minutes staring at the wall. With all of this happening with this college, I tried to log in and just like jumping through hoops to get in to this college, now they're making me jump through more hoops to drop my fall classes. This whole experience has done nothing but make my autism and my back injury worse. And they wonder why I left the first time around... They're FLDOE's problem now.
