Learn CPR & First Aid's mission is to train each student to be confident in their CPR and First Aid skills needed to respond to any emergency situation.

Meet the Business Owner: Kathie M.

Kathie Maloney, the owner, has been "Doing Business As" Learn CPR & First Aid and Safety since 1998. Kathie graduated with a License in Vocational Nursing from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in 1971. She used this education to practice nursing where she gained extensive experience in Adult Coronary Care, Pediatric Intensive Care and Home Healthcare. Kathie has over twenty years teaching experience in CPR and First Aid to nursing agencies, construction companies, utility services, churches, childcare facilities, school districts, hotels, individuals and many other types of safety conscious companies. She has also volunteered in the American Heart Association CPR Day in both Pennsylvania and San Antonio; participates in many local health fairs, scouting and much more.

This program's email, text and phone is ran by AI bot. It is impossible to get through to someone…read moreand if you complain or question them they hang up. The hands on instructors are excellent but they can not help with any follow ups or externship ride alongs. Our daughter has finished their BootCamp course, technical skills and exam. She cannot take the National exam until the ride alongs are complete. We are 3 days from day 30 of her first requests and nothing was scheduled. Her dashboard to add more requests is "frozen" and she has emailed with no follow up. The bot has said she has several urgent follow up tickets that are being looked at by a human, yet no human followup.One screen shot said she would be scheduled 5-10 days after completing her exam. False. There is also a time limit to take the National exam yet again due to lack of follow through she most likely will miss this window. The cost is $2,000 and the company has failed to provide the advertised and promised services of total completion of the certification. They have not communicated in person only in AI bot. It is time to followup with a Dept of State Health Services. This is causing our daughter not to be able to have a job with her university since there is no sight of being completed. Lack of certification, stress, time, money. It seems like a total scam!

The ladies teaching are fun and knowledgeable. I have been a nurse for over 20 years and enjoyed this class and learned more than ALL the previous classes I have taken. I will never take another course from anyone else. read more
