Mrs. Cochran is an amazing teacher, and I truly appreciate how she works together with me as a parent in the best interest of my son. I also love that the school offers personalized learning, allowing children to move forward at their own pace while making sure no one is left behind. The support from the staff has been wonderful, and I enjoy the different activities they provide for the kids. Every Friday the students attend Mass, and I really value how the school teaches love, kindness, and strong values. It's a great school, and as a parent, I appreciate how involved families can be in their children's education. I'm grateful to have found such a caring and supportive environment for my son. Every Friday, they have Chapel that is very uplifting and students are engaged with all students and staff. The different grade levels participate and take turns in Chapel. Some students that play instruments can share their joy of music. This school also has a farm with many different farm animals. Excellent school!!!

We had such a wonderful experience with Teacher Nancy in Parent & Me. Now that my daughter has moved up to preschool my son is attending parent & me with her this fall. Teacher Nancy is attentive, does a great job of keeping the kids engaged and always creates a fun and unique craft the kids can enjoy at this young age. My daughter just started preschool and we couldn't ask for a better teacher in Ms. Crystal! She is so kind, she has such a great grasp on what the kids and the classroom need at any moment. We have felt so comfortable and confident with our daughter in her care. The school space itself is amazing, it has a huge indoor play area and a fantastic outdoor space with swings, a pirate ship play area, messy kitchen, play houses, sand toys, climbing gym and toy cars. My favorite part of this preschool is the community. Even just being a part of parent & me I was able to get to know so many great families, now that we are in preschool it is a group of people all working together to make the school great. Being part of a cooperative is a special experience I didn't know about before joining this school, it makes that first transition of leaving your kids at preschool so much easier for you and them since you know not just the fantastic teachers but other caring parents are there to support them.

My oldest son was born during COVID, so we didn't have many opportunities for socialization in those early years. This school helped him come out of his shell and grow into the wonderful, confident little boy he is today. Now, my youngest son knows all the families and is completely comfortable at school. We've been so involved that both of my boys see this place as their second home--and they absolutely love it! This school hasn't just made a difference in my boys' lives; it has also had such a positive impact on my husband and me. Crying just about every day. I found them on Yelp. We met with Director Crista and Teacher Parisa to see if it would be a good fit. We toured and talked about the school's philosophy and teaching model. I had a very good feeling. There are so many student teachers always helping the teachers, as they are completing their education attending CSUN. These are trained professionals here that strive to help your child grow. They have an interest in early childhood and developmental education or they wouldn't be here. As opposed to daycares and preschools who just hire anyone who obtains a certificate. HUGE DIFFERENCE. Here, they help children to learn, communicate, understand, and emotionally grow. They understand each child's emotional needs, helping them to socialize, work together, building confidence, learning strategies, having routines and structures. They have the most beautiful play yard! Lots of beautiful trees, swings, grassy areas, sandbox, jungle gym, tricycles, hopscotch, sidewalk chalk, learning and exploring tables. Water tables. So much to do for active children. Reminds me of my childhood backyard. Weather permitting, they eat lunch and snacks outside under the shade of trees and in nature. I love this! Our teachers Parisa, Solomon, Jimena, were the best! The ratio of children to teachers is lower than most schools, as they always have two main teachers and 1 to 2 student teachers. Director Crista is also very involved with the kids, she is absolutely amazing with children. All of the teachers and staff are great here. Many have been here for a decade or more, that speaks volumes. Denise in the front office helped so much with accepting our CCRC, I'm so grateful! I can't say enough good about this little hidden school. I never left there after dropping her off wondering if my child was ok. It's a great feeling knowing they are being nurtured and safe while you are gone. She looked forward to going to school every day! Can't forget to mention that you are welcome to visit anytime. Although the facility remains locked and monitored, they have observation rooms available to come and observe your child behind 2 way mirrors in classrooms. Nothing to hide here. I literally cried every day of our last week here knowing that we were moving on to Kindergarten. We would definitely still be here if they offered Kindergarten. I can't say good about this school! The school is NAEYC accredited, whereas the majority of preschools are glorified day care. The director is intelligent, competent, and loves children. The center is well-managed, and any concerns are quickly addressed with level-headedness, openness, and logic. Another plus is that the program runs through the summer without interruption, a great option. They currently offer programs M-F with different times: 9 am- 11:30 (Half Day), 9 am-3 pm (Extended Day), 7:30am- 5:30pm (Full Day); this provides a lot of options for different family needs. I am extremely grateful that my child attended Lab School, and I only wish he could continue beyond pre-school. I also have sneaked in them taking Math classes - generally to get ready for the next school year - or to strengthen what they just finished learning the past school year.
