Wow ! I needed to take a cpr and first aid class for nursing school, and I found this place on the internet! Ms. Jackie was super kind, professional, caring, and she made sure to train my aunt and I to be the BEST life savers! She also is able to do other services that are extremely helpful as well. Jacquie was AWESOME! If you need to take your CPR class i 1000% recommend taking it here. When you choose in-person Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED, First-Aid, BLS CPR AED for Health Care Providers, or Childcare Providers Pediatric training from an Instructor who loves to teach, you'll join others from across the area participating in training from experienced, licensed professionals. Part lecture, part hands-on skills session, our in-person classes give you plenty of time to ask questions and become comfortable with the processes and procedures involved when providing care and saving a life.

History

Established in 2018.

We started the CPR business in 2018 because we felt there was a need to have a training center with instructors who understand the Adult Learner. We do not simply go over materials and demonstrations and expect you to get it right away. It takes time to master the art of compressions and life saving first aid. Doing CPR the correct way can mean the difference between life and death. CPR training done right, can help a volunteer first responder save a life. Therefore, we take our time with each student to ensure that you can use the skills you learn with us in determining what to do in case of a medical emergency.

Meet the Business Owner: Jacquelyn M.

My name is Jacquelyn and I have been working in the Community for over 35 years. I love working with people whether children or adults. I truly understand how adults learn and know the need to exercise patience. My Training Classes are designed with that thought in mind. I train in groups and individuals. CPR and First Aid Training can save lives if you receive the training hands-on. I am able to train to fit your busy schedule. I train at our classroom or at your job site or facility. We offer Pediatric CPR for Childcare Providers as well as CPR for Community Employees. Go online and register. And Eric is right, I have no ability to judge their teaching because I did not take a class, but this review is not in regard to their teaching, it is for their unprofessional and angry/reactive correspondence that I am reviewing. Again, if they are turning away potential clients in a nasty way, who wants to give them their business?

Over the past 2 and half years, we have seen significant growth in her emotional and mental well being. We do not have any close family near by so initially she had a hard time warming up to the teachers/support she did not see on a normal basis. The teachers, directors and the Montessori approach made it easier for her to become the little confident person she is today in which I thank them for their care and support. Additional Notes: The school itself is located on PCH so it is a busy during rush hour. There are times that getting in and out of the school can be troublesome. However, the school itself feels secure and I didn't worry too much about her safety as there are a lot of gates. Since we have been there for a while, we have seen a few changes in staff and was questionable at times. However, the current director does her best to manage the changes and notifies the parents as soon as possible. The director and teachers are very caring and do their best to accommodate the changes as well. The school uses an app for communication about your child and it is very convenient as they update throughout the day such as meals and if they took a nap, etc. It made me feel less anxious. I do feel that they are aligning well with the academics while fully embracing the Montessori guidance. My daughter does well with independent play and loves to learn. She shows an interest in many subjects. Thank you PCMA for the good memories and we will miss you guys!

Both teachers, Ms. Angie and Ms. Marizol, are truly wonderful with our son. They are encouraging, engaging, patient, and fun. We were told that it can take some children 1-3 months to stop crying after drop-off, but our son stopped crying after just the first week, which speaks volumes about the kindness and care they show him. What impressed us even more is how quickly we began to see growth. After just his first week, our son learned to sneeze into his arm, and we've noticed him forming his sentences more and more each day. The school provides weekly curriculum updates, which we love, and they also focus on a monthly book, reinforcing learning in a thoughtful, intentional way. It truly reflects an authentic Montessori learning style. The campus itself is adorable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for children. The activities offered are precious and intentional, from the Thanksgiving kiddie potluck to Spirit Week and the Christmas recital. Another huge plus is that the school offers lunch and snacks for an additional $100 per month, which is very reasonable and takes a lot of daily stress off parents. The only con I would note is the number of days off throughout the year while still requiring full monthly tuition. This can be challenging, as it requires parents to take multiple days--and even weeks--off work. That said, it is the only downside we've experienced. We initially gave this school 5 stars, and while we still love and appreciate the teachers, it's important to note that a rating reflects the entire experience--including management. Since we don't deal with administration daily, it hasn't impacted us as much, but our confidence in upper management isn't what it once was. It's still a good option overall, especially because of the teachers--but don't expect the same level of excellence across the board.

I took the BLS course to renew my license with Jackie and learned so much! Jackie is so hands on and very Knowledgeable and puts you in different scenarios to really understand the importance of CPR and the role you have in it. Video was up to date and interesting. She answered questions completely. Probably the best class in my almost 30 years in the dental field I've taken on CPR. And have to renew every 2 years. Would like to be able to get CE"s since most classes give that which would be perfect. I recommend the class and felt comfortable with all the Covid protocols And safety.
