We need parks to help foster a community as opposed to just having a bunch of people living close to each other. A park fosters community and allows us to gather in recreation. I'm always open for a hike with a small child that keeps you on a boardwalk for the entire journey. At the end of the boardwalk, past the lake, it looks like you can exit the boardwalk for a ground trek. What a pretty place for portraits.

It is incredibly spacious and is all grass turf, which is great but as someone noted before does get muddy. There is parking nearby, a poop bag post, dog toys, a hose, small tub, and seats. It's in a nice part of downtown Jackson, right by Lift and some other shops. Also a random, but somewhat relevant, thing to note is that this is a dog park, not a playground. If you bring kids, they may get bored. But this park isn't technically for them anyway. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was very muddy when we visited. I also hope they set up some obstacle courses or something to give pups some exercise and mental stimulation.

There was no sign! The only sign there just said not to play them. They could at least make a sign that says if you play it you buy it. Now I have a flute that I don't want and a memory that will bother me when I try to sleep for the next five years. She really hurt my feelings :(. But the mound was really cool!

They let us check in fairly late with no reservation which was very nice. Nothing fancy. Very basic amenities. Level spots, mostly 75 ft. pull through. Close to gas and the highway. There is a bit of road noise from I-40. It's cash/check only. Only major complaint is that the electric hookups are not breakered which made it nerve wracking to hook up.
