They let us check in fairly late with no reservation which was very nice. Nothing fancy. Very basic amenities. Level spots, mostly 75 ft. pull through. Close to gas and the highway. There is a bit of road noise from I-40. It's cash/check only. Only major complaint is that the electric hookups are not breakered which made it nerve wracking to hook up. read more

No frills, friendly RV spot. Pool was very clean and looked inviting. Friendly neighbors, pretty level site with few adjustments needed. A little interstate noise but nothing we're not used to. This is a small Mom-and-pop independent RV park. They only take cash (because the credit card company cheated them out of some of the charges they were owed). Very friendly. If you make reservations with the owner he's hard of hearing so speak slow. :-) They have a laundry and the office is open all night. They have a lending library and my kids were invited to bring their "ipad things" and hangout in the office after hours if they wanted to. Very sweet! The park is BEHIND the Citgo so you have to go past it, turn left, and then follow a winding dirt road to the office. Glad we stopped. Reminds me of the old route 66 hotels. It's good to support the old family businesses. read more

HORRIBLE PARK. DO NOT STAY! I called March 23rd to make a 2 night reservation for October. The guy on the phone said he had my reservation, and I should pay, cash only, when I arrived. I get there on my reservation day, and the attendant tells me I can have site 10 or 12. I spent 45 minutes setting, in the rain. Then, the attendant tells me that her boss says I have to move. I said I didn't want to move after setting up in the rain. The attendant says I can stay there tonight, but have to move tomorrow. I ended up talking to her boss on the phone. She tells me I don't have a reservation and have to move today. When I explained (calmly) that I did call and make a reservation, a man comes on the phone and rudely tells me he won't have anyone arguing with her. He also tells me they don't even take cash. The guy ends up threatening me, saying he will call the sheriff, and a tow truck to move my rig off the premises if I wasn't gone in 30 minutes. Rude, threatening, and the campground was dirty and very run down. read more

They add a lot on for extra people! We didn't end up staying here because it would have been $49 for a back in 30 amp site with electric and water. Because we have 6 kids. I mentioned we were just sleeping and hitting the road again, wouldn't even be needing the bath house or grill she talked up, but apparently children really up the price of electric! read more

We stopped here on a trip for a quick 1 night stay. This campground needs updating, repairs done, and better service. We needed 30 amp service. They had to "find" a 30 amp that worked! We tried 3 spaces before we found one that worked. Many sites had non working shore power. Many campers are living there full time. We ended up being parked under a NIGHTLIGHT in a pop up tent camper. Nothing like LIGHTING up our tent ALL night! Then, the NOISE. This campground is right next to the interstaye I40. ALL you will hear all night long is truck noise, traffic, and Jake brakes. The "bath" house- ugh! Not very clean, watered down soap for washing your hands, and I didn't want to use the showers! The men's restroom was appalling, according to my husband. We should have kept driving, even if it meant setting up after sunset! I would NOT recommend this campground. read more

She continued to tell me it wasn't a mobile home park and they don't take live ins there. Someone different needs to answer the phone. All I wanted was a week at a rv spot. I would give a 3.5 Nice place to stay for a night. Close to freeway and gas. Husband didn't like the idea that they didn't have breaker on the electric box. He also said bathrooms needed updating. Perfect place to stop for a quick sleep on our travels to Oklahoma from North Carolina (we stopped both times). Great price, quiet little campground. Very respectful people on the phone and the gentleman in the office was so helpful to walk us to the site. We'd definitely recommend. read more

Friendly people. No frills. Definitely needs updating but worked for one night. Flat pull thru 50amp spots. $1 wash and $1 dry helped. $39 for 4 people a tad steep for what you get but we needed to sleep. Their positive attitude is what really made the difference. read more

When you call to check on availability, the first thing the wonderful lady informs you is that they are just a campground and not a "resort." If you are just passing through, this is the perfect spot to stop. It is just like the other reviews say. And the owners are such lovely folks. Because this was our maiden voyage with a new rig, I was wandering around after dark with a flashlight, un-winterizing, and they came out to be sure all was well. Assured that everything was ok, they wished us good travels and invited us to come again. Oh, and so very affordable. Pull through sites are a whole $2 more than back ins. This is a cute little RV park; we stayed in late August 2018. They have minimal amenities, but who can complain for $30.00/night. We received a military discount. You can tell the showers & bathrooms are older, but they're clean. The pool was nice. We had no problem with the hook-ups (30 amp pull-through). Ann is the nicest, sweetest lady; so helpful! The I-40 freeway is close by but we never had problems with noise. I'd stay there again. read more

What a great place! Perfectly clean and simple mom and pop type place. They have full hook ups, level spots, beautiful scenery, laundry, pool, etc. it's the best place to get a good, quiet night's sleep. No frills, just right. They take cash or check, which was fine with us. I would highly recommend, and will return if we're in the area again. read more

VERY RUDE!!! We needed a 4 week reservation (just long enough to have utilities run on our new property so we can move our RV to our land) but this VERY RUDE woman INSISTED that we would be a noise violation and invite people over to the camp grounds. They typically only rent "long term" to TVA workers. I tried to explain to the woman that we are in our mid-30's and will be busy with building out our land.... its not like we are young/wild ya know?? But this very rude woman hung up on me before I could explain anything. She was extremely RUDE and made it clear that our kind is NOT welcome at her camp grounds. read more

Two of us with two small tents spent one night passing through on motorcycles. We have been camping on these trips for well over a decade. Although Ann, the proprietor seemed very nice and welcoming over the phone, it became obvious upon our arrival that we should have asked some basic questions. Since the tent camping area had no picnic tables nor shade with very tall grass and weeds, we went with an RV site. She would NOT allow two tents on a single RV site. When we asked why, Ann just said "those are the rules" and continued telling us about her trip to Greece. Not to interrupt her, I waited and then asked again why the one tent per RV site. This time, her answer was that we don't have to stay there if we don't want to. Tired from a day on the road, we stayed and paid the $60.00 instead of the $44.00 that the TWO tents sites would have cost. At least we had a table, water, and power (did not test it) if needed. For RVs, the price is right no matter how big your rig is. Just don't mind the completely run down facilities and the gross showers that were air conditioned only from about 4 pm until 9 pm. Very easy to get to, and nice signage on the curiously curvy road in. The people are very pleasant. The pool is well kept. The laundry and shower/bath rooms are not new, but they were clean and worked fine. I was surprised at how little road noise there was even though we were closest to the freeway. Most of the sites are pull throughs, but they have some shorter back in sites for campers and a sign that they also have tent camping sites. The water pressure was adequate and the the water tasted fairly good. This is a small privately owned facility, which accepts checks and cash, no plastic. We stayed 3 nights - originally intended only 2, but it was nice enough we opted for a 3rd night and don't regret it. read more

I give this RV Park a 5 star review!! It's small but quaint and the people working there were super nice. We were late finding a park to stay in on the way to see my new grandson and they had a spot. It was a nice pull through, full hookups. My husband was very pleased with it, especially when the RV space was so level. read more

Nice little campground for a "one night, got to get some rest" stop. Easy on/off the Interstate which is great for late night stops. The restroom/shower out dated and a bit of a ......challenge. However, they work which is the ultimate goal anyway. read more
