I had tried sports massages, heating/icing, foam rolling, stretching and nothing seemed to help my lower back pain. I was honestly just hoping for a little relief--but what I got was so much more. Dan is not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable in his work, but he also brings such a grounded, genuine presence that made me feel immediately at ease. It's a convenient location with ample off street parking. The facilities are clean, well lit and comfortable. I have worked with Shawn - who is fantastic. I also had Brenda for a session - also fantastic. Both - really listen and hear what's going on and give great advice. I am a recent cancer survivor trying to deal with major changes to my body after undergoing chemo, radiation and surgery that impacted my pelvis, hips, periformis. On top of this I already had lower back issues and was developing shoulder problems as well. I could not walk 10 minutes on a treadmill without pain. Over the course of the past few months I went from not being able to walk more than 10 minutes at a slow pace on the treadmill without pain to walking 3 miles in a little over an hour without pain. Shawn has helped with my neck issues and my lower back issues by looking at my body as a whole. With some massage, stretching and prescribing exercises he has helped me rebuild strength and balance.
