On our fifth service call since the very day it was installed. Now it's been two weeks since the last repair. Still leaking and no one has come to fix read more

The Greenville, SC owner is highly unprofessional and unresponsive. My lights haven't worked correctly in months and I am getting looped around to different 800 numbers. I am furious. read more

L-F installed the filters but didn't clean the downspouts so the same problem of water overflowing is there. They also did not seal the gutter leaks. Their promotion says they will guarantee the system if we are not satisfied. They ignored us. read more

not honoring what they say. substandard performance. gutter overflow due to blockage. unwilling to honor warranty. Don't believe anything they say read more

I had LeafFilter installed yesterday. The 3 man crew did an excellent job. They cleaned my gutters and fixed some issues. Then installed the leaf filters. They cleaned everything up. It was actually cleaner than when they arrived. Blew all leaves away and off my deck and in front of the house. I am very pleased. We had rain last night and there were no leaks or run off. I would highly recommend them. I even had some lights hanging from gutters and they hung them back up for me after the install. read more

I had this company come out to give an estimate. A friend with a similar house to mine used them and told me what it cost. I was quoted more than double that amount and when I balked, suddenly the price dropped. Still VERY expensive especially since they would mostly use my existing gutters. I went with them because I was told repeatedly that I was covered for any issues for life. Today I called and asked for someone to come out because most gutters are clogged. They said there would be a 95$ fee for this. Something about "internal" clogging?? These are supposed to be garunteed clogging free for life and would be serviced if there was a problem. This is obviously a lie. Do not use this company. read more

I have not had the system long enough to have an opinion on how well they work or how long they last, my complaint is about their guarantee. I was told "if there's EVER an issue involving your gutters, call us and we'll come fix it. If a tree falls on it, whatever, if you're gutters get damaged, call us". After a windy (maybe 25mph winds) day, i found a screen laying in my yard, so i called them to come fix it. I was told that wind damage isn't covered and it will cost $95! This is a FAR cry from what i thought i was getting. Do not get these gutters unless they show you what is covered and you are comfortable with it. read more

I had new gutters and gutter guards installed by this company 12 months and 2 weeks ago. I had a siding company come out to replace the siding. They found the downspouts were hanging from the new gutters by a single piece of metal that was bend down from inside the gutter. Proper gutter installs would contain a sleeve to attach the downspout to so it is secure. When I called this company they told me I had to pay 80 dollars to have someone come out to look at the issue and that I was past the install warranty period by two weeks. Had the siding been replaced two weeks ok they would have fixed their defects. Steer clear of this company as they are not customer friendly. This is not an outrageous ask to have something done correctly especially at cost of 3600 for 40 feet of gutters and guards. read more

Leaf filter left me in a situation where I had no previous problem. The pressure to buy the product leaf filter which is a product that is supposed to keep leaves out of gutters. I currently have gutters filled with leafs. I was in my local Lowe's in Spartanburg South Carolina in September 2024 and I was pressured into purchasing leaf filter, which is the covering that goes over gutters. I told the guy selling leaf filter that I had no gutters and he said there's no problem, sir we can put gutters in as well, so I told him he could send out his estimator and the estimator came out and measured my home and gave me a price and the price was pretty reasonable. I went into the hospital just before they were supposed to install leaf filter and I had major surgery of my head, neck and mouth because of Cancer. right now I'm in radiation treatment's and I can hardly speak or eat. I have a lot of issues going on I'm a senior citizen snd I am a 100% disabled veteran and I was taken advantage of by letting leaf filter into my house. I have attempted to get my situation resolved, and I will at some point whether it takes court or not is up to them. They sold me a product and did a bait and switch on me with the leaf filter product . Why are they selling the leaf filter gutters without any leaf filter to protect as they advertise? The gutters are filled with leaves now and the backed up gutters are damaging my home. I don't understand their logic. Now they are basically telling me to go to hell. I have contacted Lowe's and leaf filter local several times and they all are taking the position that they weren't selling me leaf filter. They tell me that the contract I signed was only for gutters. Why would any sane person ever think that the product they were selling was gutters without leaf filter? Once I found that they did the bait and switch action on me, Three weeks later I'm still not getting support locally and also the Customer Support people have told me that I am wrong in my assessment. When I was told that I have to talk to the local leaf filter people I explained that I did have communications with the local leaf filter tesm and she couldn't help me. I asked to speak to her manager she told me I wouldn't get a different decision. I insisted and I was put on hold for quite a while and when she spoke to me after she took me off hold she explained I couldn't speak with her manager about elevating my complaint she said her manager wasn't available and she then told me someone will call me when they where available by the next day, I'm still waiting 2 weeks later. I am suffering from mouth and neck cancer the surgery was major and I am receiving radiation treatments every day and after I receive my radiation treatment I literally become nausea's and have major pain in my mouth, neck and throat and also have trouble drinking and can't eat. I was already sick before I contracted cancer. I am a 23 year veteran and I am rated 100% disabled for several injuries sustained while serving this Country. I am a senior citizen and believe that there are laws protecting seniors from this type of tactic "bait and switch". The day they were to install the gutters on my house I literally was transported home from the hospital snd I required a lot of help from nurses coming to my house to help me cope and try to help me heal well enough to start radiation treatments. That brings me to today and I have gutters that are completely full of leafs and pine needles and because of the hurricane we were literally hammered by the wind and rain with a lot of damage to our trees and power lines. If I wasn't screwed with gutters and not the product I paid for I wouldn't be repairing my cameras and getting the water out of my crawl space had completed the job and I paid the bill through Lowe's approximately $3000 And assumed that I was gonna be fine and water wouldn't be building up and I wouldn't have an issue with gutters well, I don't understand how anyone could consider the fact that they were trying to. They were selling me leaf filter, and the assumption was that I was going to have gutters as well. The estimator never spoke about just gutters. He spoke about leaf filter gutters they made bait and switch on me. I am so angry that I have gutters full of leaves right now because I got bamboozled in to gutters without leaf filter. I don't understand how anybody can make sense of that when they were selling leaf filter not gutters. read more

Just a 4 today because we JUST had our LeafFilter gutters installed yesterday. The company responded quickly and accurately ( some companies called about "gutter cleaning" when I clearly asked about NEW GUTTER INSTALLATION), the rep provided a workable timetable for a consultation, he arrived promptly and provided excellent comparable items showing the difference in various gutter types. His presentation was professional, accurate, informative, and succinct. The original estimate was considerably more than I expected, but the rep plugged in some Excellent discounts. He called the next day to schedule the installation. And today, in LESS THAN A WEEK, I'm hearing rain running down my new drainpipes instead of puddling around my foundation. Great job, great service! read more

The salesman was personable, and arrived promptly at our appointment time. He went through the process clearly, and helped us understand the product and it's application for our situation. He even asked us pertinent questions about the property and the lay of the land in order to make sure we were satisfied with the projected outcome. Overall, we could not be happier with the product and the installation. The water is pushed away from our foundation for the first time since the house was built here. Even with the heavy rains we have experienced since the installation, we have had no issues! Thank you! read more

High pressure sales, started out at over 10K. Finally settled at 7K. Literally installed in 8 hours. For the priced charged, expected significantly more work to be done. No gutters were "re-aligned", little to no silicone applied to seams. Gutters now overrunning with cascading water and I can't get the warranty cleaning crew mobilized. Sales guy won't pick up phone and the "warranty " part of this racket puts me on month long wait list for debris removal on the "never clog again" product. At least the gutters flowed freely for at least a year after just cleaning them. Perspective on how over priced these things are. Their initial bid was MORE than what I paid to replace the roof of a 4,000 SF home and 3 X the cost of removing and replacing the 2x6 boards on a 12x35 foot deck. (Including fastening with screws & cost of lumber) I knowingly overpaid for this junk, but did it for the guarantee I wouldn't have to get on the roof or ladder anymore...too old and get vertigo on occasion. Now they won't honor even that. I can't speak for all locations, but the Greenville branch of this company can be classified as predatory. read more

Worker showed up on time and was very nice. Showed up in an unmarked white truck, and had no badge or way to identify himself as a Leaf Filter employee. As he was unable to speak English. I was told by the salesperson that all of their installers were company employees so I expected more. Once I was able to communicate to the worker which gutters to install their product to, he began to work. But first he called his wife and began chatting. When I checked back 15 minutes later he was still on the phone. He was on the phone the entire 3.5 hours he worked at my home talking with family, friends, and kids. The sales person also told me that "their" installers would be cleaning out my gutters and downspouts before they installed their product. He first began shoveling out the gutter debris into my yard, then my bushes, and then throwing it onto my pool deck. Once I noticed this was being done, I somehow communicated my dissatisfaction and he went to get a bucket to finish the cleaning job. My sales person also told me that "their" installers would be going over their installation procedures and there would be a sign placed in my front yard while they work from which neither was done. I did contact my sales person via email and got no reply. So I contacted him by text and got no reply. So I emailed the company directly and the regional service manager called me by phone in a timely manner. He apologized and said they would look into the situation and use my information to correct the problem. No compensation or any discounts or refunds were mentioned. This was the most unprofessional worker that I have ever had work at my home in 40 years. I would recommend you choose a different company for your leaf gutter protection system. We had decided to have them do more of our gutters before they came, but changed our mind after seeing the lack of professionalism and respect to us and our home. read more
