I always find (want more than) what I went in there for. The gunsmithing employees were helpful when I broke a piece off a folding stock earlier this year. Their prices accommodate the selection. Used and new guns are always in good supply. The team there is knowledgeable and kind, and we've never had an issue. I saw the negative review. It's always possible to have a bad experience, but it just hasn't been ours. Perhaps a couple of the employees are 'serious-minded,' but that's not necessarily a bad thing. A potential customer asked for the number to their corporate office after an employee tried to sell a pair of shoes far above the retail price while on the clock. That same employee went into another retail store for a confrontation with the person(s) who asked for CHAMPS corporate number while accompanied by his girlfriend. The CHAMPS employee then assaulted a young lady while in uniform and still on duty. I entered this CHAMPS location to question the employee about the assault. He was dismissive and lacked remorse. I asked the manager on duty, Nathan, for the contact Information for the regional and district managers. He neglected to give me the info I asked for. The other CHAMPS employee brandished a weapon and his it in the store once police were called. The store employees claimed that their cameras did not work. The manager also requested that the police issue a trespassing warning to someone who never entered the store. CHAMPS and their employees should be held accountable and I wish to speak with someone with professional and integrity to come to a resolution.
