We were seated inside, and Mr. Bee started exploring the beer board and decided on a flight. The young woman working was so friendly and helpful to him making recommendations based on his tastes. I chose a nice chilled glass of wine, and we settled in enjoying the coziness, yet industrial feel of the interior. We decided to order a cheese board that featured local Quebec cheeses. They were great! We spent a good hour and a half, watching locals come in and out enjoying food, and drinks. Just know this is Quebec and everyone speaks French, so do your best and at least understand how to say please, thank you and enough to get through the basics, it is appreciated by the locals if you try. There is street parking if you are driving. If you find yourself in port and off a cruise ship, it is within walking distance of the port.

It's not in the menu because it was left off accidentally. Big chunks of smoked salmon served with a little pickled onion and topped with a tart Hollandaise sauce. It was great combination to share and we won't need to eat for a few days!

If was not a long wait and we were seated quickly. While the primary language was French, they graciously provided us service in English and were patient with us as we worked through the language barrier. The menu was amazing...great selection of meals. We can for breakfast and went immediately to the Benny menu because this was obviously a speciality. They took our order quickly and accurately. The cooks and kitchen staff were amazing. It was very busy as I said and even with everything going on the cooks got the food out quickly, accurately and wonderfully presented. The food was also wonderful! Both my son and I noted how perfectly the poached eggs were done, even considering how busy they were. It was one of the best benedicts I have ever had, without exaggeration. The mixed fruit on the plate was the absolute pièce de résistance! Our coffee was always full and the servers really took an interest in ensuring our visit was a great one. BTW...coffee is part of the breakfast price and is NOT extra. Amazing! Free wifi, great decaf coffee, and the 60's decor with the old fashion jukebox just finished it perfectly. Thank you for making our visit wonderful. If you are in Trois-Rivieres, this is the place to go!

I was very excited to try this bubble tea shop out, but I knew not to expect too much. They actually have quite a bit of selection, and it is sold at $5 for a 18oz cup, and $6 for a 24oz cup (with an extra $1 for tapioca/popping bubbles). There are also many different kinds of milk for substitution if you need! I ordered the Iced Matcha Latte with tapioca pearls. The barista quickly made it in front of us, and he was very effiicent. I found it really cool how he had used a mason jars as a shaker to shake the matcha and milk together (he shook it by hand too!). He scooped the tapioca pearls from a little plastic container (in which I had a feeling that the tapioca would probably not have been too fresh!), and had assembled it all into my little cup I found that there was no matcha taste in my bubble tea, and it was also not sweetened, so I should have asked for it to be sweeted (which I believe, I would have been charged another fee). I was surprisingly amazed that the tapioca didn't taste too bad! You could definitely tell that the pearls are not fresh, but it was still sweet and chewy. I think that if i got another flavour, I might have enjoyed it a little bit more :) And, I think that if I visited Urbanithé earlier in the day, I possibly could have enjoyed some fresh pearls! However, I found the price point a little expensive- I had paid $6+ for a milky and tasteless bubble tea. My friend had gotten a preset drink, and hers was sweetened, and it was actually quite enjoyable. I think that if I had picked a preset drink choice, I might have had a better experience. Nonetheless, I am still very happy to see that this asian drink can still be found in a very francophone area! They also have sandwiches and a wide variety of tea selection (which are laid out very similar to David's Tea).
