A very comfortable room with a great beer selection and tasty food. We enjoyed our Gravlax salads very much. The service is attentive.

Super pleased with our meal: great beers, refined dishes, patient staff. A casual enough atmosphere that our kids weren't too out of place. Arrive early, they fill up quickly when the kitchen opens at 5 PM.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way back to the airport in Montreal & because my husband was anxious to sample another local IPA. He was a very happy camper after trying the Egoine made by this brewpub that also makes its own honey from hives on the roof & lemonade. The pastrami sandwich I had was was very tasty. Unlike in the U. S., it wasn't crammed with meat & fat but had several slices of a very tender good pastrami on an incredibly delicious fresh seeded rye-sesame bun with fresh tomato, good quality pickle slices, and a nicely dressed salad mix. Hubby had a Scotch egg, just for the heck of it & found both it & the side salad delish. Finish that up with a good cup of coffee & I was too full to contemplate their yummy sounding desserts like creme brûlée, lemon tart, & cheesecake. (Although I was very tempted!). The servers were also quite helpful in explaining things to us as English speakers. Nice people!

Perfect weather may have affected my review, but if you're visiting this area in the summer do not miss le Temps d'une Pinte! European new age beer garden feel with outstanding beer brewed in house, plus other local favorites. Stellar friendly service. Inside, cool design prevails.

**Note this review is for the Île d'Orléans Location:…read more This place totally surprised us in the best way. We stopped here after our bike tour around the island and absolutely loved it. They have great vegetarian options as well. We ordered the shrimp roll, bánh mì, sun-dried tomato lentil dip with pita, and the halloumi salad - everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We sat outside where you can choose between sun or shade, which was really nice after being out biking all day. You can tell the people working here take pride in what they do. Friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and a perfect stop on Île d'Orléans. Would definitely recommend!

The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the beer flight, which was beautifully presented and offered a great variety of styles something for every palate. The food was just as impressive. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully plated. The balance of textures and flavors really stood out, and you can tell care goes into every dish. Dessert was the perfect ending...rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the charming interior and the option to grab beers to go, with such a fun and colorful selection available. La Barberie is the perfect spot to relax, enjoy great food and craft beer, and soak in a warm local vibe. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My Bison burger was excellent and it was one of the best I tossed ever, there was also oka cheese wich puts even more flavor.

It's an older building that has been renovated for a restaurant but still has the rustic feel. I wasn't crazy about where we sat. It was across from a door that was used for people to leave to smoke, and in winter it was quite chilly on my back. In front of the door was a curtain but it was always open We started off with a beer from Joliette - a white brew that tasted like Belgium Moon I ordered the Chicken Nachos and Pooh ordered the Bacon Poutine. Chicken Nachos were delicious plus a perfect amount of sour cream and salsa. I ordered a small portion and it was smaller than I expected for the price. Pooh's Poutine was delicious too but for the price (small) he thought it would be bigger I'm taking one star off because our table was too close to the revolving door

I had the BEST vegetarian burger I have ever had. It was smoky from griddling the party and the bun. My mom had the fish and chips and the batter was perfect, not too thick and very crispy. Compare to other breweries on the street, this is more for people enjoying the drink and relax. Service-wise, all the drinks are written on the blackboard. We did have some language barrier to understand how menu worked. We asked for recommendation based on what we like but the server could not do any recommendations which was pity. We finally decided on the first 2 groups of flights on the menu. Also they decided to close the shop early (1am on Google) because of lack of customers and last drink order was 11pm which didn't give me enough time to order the second round. (Oh well~) The drinks were good and special. The taste was clean and refreshing. We enjoyed all the drinks we ordered. We would love to order more but they are closing. Price was very good compare to Ontario. Love to visit again.
