The most beautiful dresses. Timeless, elegant, no fuss or flounce, just perfect. The fabric is also the most luxurious of any of the dresses (some much more expensive) that I tried on. The dresses are expensive (£4k), but much better value than anything else out there.
I think the service has improved since (or because of?) the previous reviews were written. The lady I dealt with throughout (Dina) was calm, reassuring and wonderful. She's also an incredible seamstress. The dress fitted almost perfectly the first time I tried it on, but I had two more fittings until she was happy. I was delighted the first time around, but her tiny tweaks made it perfect. All alterations were included in the price of the dress.
I was a little unsure about not being able to wear a bra with the dress I chose, but it wasn't a problem at all. I was doubtful about the sew-in cups they have to give you some support, but they are actually fantastic. They provide a surprisingly good amount of support (the dress will really hold you without looking like it does, so that helps to) and the shape is really good. I'm a 32c in case that helps anyone.
Also, the other big plus is how un-salesy they are. I went in 8-9 months before my wedding and was told it was a good time to start dress shopping. Almost every other wedding dress shop I went into said I was cutting it a bit fine and put a lot of pressure on me to pick a dress then and there. It made the whole experience quite stressful. I was so relieved when I found my dress in Le Spose di Gio it meant I wouldn't have to go back to any of the other shops that I almost cried. Sad but true.
