I've eaten at Le Shanghai three times while on business in the Chevries/Mons area. I've had the Peking Duck, the Sweet and Sour Chicken, and recently the Duck with pancakes. Each have been delicious and perfectly cooked. The service is fantastic, the food comes out very hot and the staff is kind. I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in town. read more

Stopped here on the last day of vacation. Very clean, family oriented restaurant. Huge selection of food, indoor and outdoor seating (back patio)where there is also a play area for the kids and a little garden and pond to the side of the patio. Food was good. Had the Peking pork and Peking duck, came with a large portion of steamed rice and pancakes also. Absolutely enjoyed the little hot oil/hot sauce that was on the table. The waitress didnt know much english but the guys spoke perfect english. Overall a great experience. read more

I will start out by saying....beautiful patio area with a fenced in playground for the kids to play while waiting on food and also no AC inside during the summer. We go here almost every week mostly because it is the only place I can get spicy food the way I like spicy foods....very spicy. I normally order the Chili Basil Chicken off of the Thai menu and also the coconut lemongrass soup. Sometimes I take a side order of soup home for the next day, I enjoy it that much. Some of the dishes tend to be over salted sometimes. My husband orders the buffet option, which is a very interesting experience that differs from the US. The food all comes out fresh and cooked to order. Something we did not expect when we heard the word "buffet.' I also order the Mai Thai drink and my husband usually orders a Belgium or Chinese beer. Considering they are a Belgian restaurant, the beer selection could be larger. read more

Not my idea of typical Chinese food but it was still very good. They speak a little English we could order without a problem. I'm not sure how it works but they have some sort of buffet. They are open on Sunday so that is good. I would definitely return. There is a play set for children in the backyard. I ordered the beef noodle and it was kinda like a lo mein. It's worthy of a checkin. read more

A delightful spicy surf and turf variety with well mixed drinks, a bottle of Bordeaux wine, and dessert. The Menu price was €49 for starter, main dish, and dessert. Drinks were an additional cost. However, the wine bottle selections ranged from €8 a bottle to much much higher depending on choice. I usually rate my Thai food based on the Tom Yum Soup. However, I did not order this time, regrettably, as the food was so good that I can only imagine the flavor of my favorite soup would be a flavor of heaven !!! I highly recommend.

Some pad thais simply do not bring the right ingredients together. I tries eating at the place and the interior is very nice. It has nice seats and offers and very relaxed atmosphere. The best thing about it is that they have wi-fi. Forget about having coffee and doing work. I'm getting pad thai and I'll be on my laptop doing work here. I had their menu for 8 euros which included pad thai, a drink, and a nem. It was just perfect for a student like me. Such a sham that I discovered this place just before I leave.
