Nonetheless, after spending a few hours at the beach, we were overcome with hunger...and the need for WiFi. Can't say anything bad about them, the staff was nice and very welcoming. We were seated promptly and at our table of choice. The bread service came even before we placed the order (much appreciated). The food, however, was only ok. We ordered the Bouillabaisse and the tuna. The bouillabaisse was more of a bisque and saltier than I expected. The tuna was fresh but nothing special, either in the cut or the flavor. Portions were also more of the appetizer size than a main. Long story short, Plage Keller is a great place to visit and a great place to hang out. But there are a few restaurants on or near the beach and I'd probably eat somewhere else if I was going back (which I hopefully will).

Every morning (except Monday), there is a beautiful farmers' market in the middle of Cours Saleya that offers everything from herbs to hats. I initially went around 7am, while all of the vendors were setting up. Not many people were around, and it was very cool seeing the market take shape. I later returned at noon, and the street was absolutely teeming with tourists and locals alike. It doesn't take much time there to appreciate the vast cornucopia that is Marché aux Fleurs, so I highly recommend strolling down Cours Saleya during business hours! Happily, Clayton Cohn

It's a long street where vendors of all sorts sell their wares. Fruits, vegetables, flowers, lavender packets, spices, food like socca (a Nice special), antiques, souvenirs, arts and crafts, etc. There are restaurants in the background. It's crowded. I got here after lunch and the socca vendor closed for the day. There were a bunch of people and vendors but not much products left. Forget St. Tropez, Ipanema, Playa del Carmen, Belize, Florida, and Hawaii. While I do love all those beaches for different reasons, and really if you're hanging at the beach, life is still pretty good no matter which one you choose to chill at, La Mala is a cut above the rest. Definitely geared towards a younger high society crowd, the vibe is still amazing. However one downfall is that there isn't sand. It's rocks. So plan on bringing your water shoes. On to all yelpers most important subject, food. Here's what my table ordered: Mixed Fruit plate: a combination of every fruit I could think of plus some fruits I didn't recognize. The presentation was nice and the fruit was refreshing under the hot sun. Actually this is the only dish I got a pic of. Pizza Magherita: any Yelper from San Francisco is probably an expert in Magherita pizzas by now. The Magherita pizza at La Reserve was the best I've had yet. Chicken Caesar Salad: I didn't try the salad but a couple of my friends did. They said it was really good. There was a lot of food (such as seafood, etc) being served to people around me that all looked Food or Travel Channel worthy. When you see steep steps to your left with a small la reserve de la mela business sign that looks like you might be trespassing then youve found one of the entrances! We were sat down at the loungers on the beach. Our server came up and asked if we wanted to start with a bottle of Dom Perignon which we laughed and declined. We ordered the local lager & a Chablis which were both good. We also ordered one of the pizzas which was really good. We continued drinking and enjoying the beach but there wasnt much of an atmosphere, no music :/ we wanted to get a couples massage but they only had one masseuse but I would like to note that she was the nicest person working at that establishment and so she deserves a mention. We ended up spending around $250 and wouldve spent much more if the service and atmosphere were good. At the end of our visit the server said oh theres no pin to your card I can just charge it to $500 yeah and I just laughed nervously because I was uncomfortable. Like we get it your a private beach club but ive been to private beach clubs around the world and this is one of the less desirable ones ive been to. Its tacky to bring up money so much. If there was a good product there then you wouldnt have to awkwardly push a bottle of dom perignon. Next time im in South France I will skip this place :/

Fair prices for a stunning view on a sun bed right on the beach. Forgot your towel? No worries, they can supply that for you. Cant handle too much sun? No problem, they've got you covered with umbrella availability. Aside from a beautiful place to lay out, I cant forget to mention the excellent customer service from the friendly staff. Hors d' oeuvres, and fun cocktails also at your convenience, brought to you right to your sun station. My partner and I got there late morning, and left early afternoon to explore the rest of Nice, but were delighted to hear that we were welcome to comeback before 6 and reclaim our sun beds. Shocked to see such little reviews on such a charming place. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

Lots of large parties dressed up for the dinner. The service was slow and pretty unattentive. The (very over-prized) menu had some interesting things in it, but they had run out of some of the main courses. The food we did have was okay - the meat dishes were great even. To sum it up: if you want to party with an unlimited budget with friends who like to dress up for a beach restaurant this is your place. For people who like to have a serious meal I would not recommend it.

However, all of this is worth it - it's by far the best place in Juan Les Pins to relax, enjoy a (relatively) cheap bottle of rose with your toes in the sand, and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean.
