A truly excellent meal: scenery, service, creativity and quality. We were biking along the Saone and stopped here for a leisurely lunch with a view. There were no empty tables but they quickly set something up for our group and we were soon seated facing the river. The server switched to English readily to translate and answer all our questions.
The set menu with fish was light and flavorful and came with a creative array of vegetables to start. The lamb entree was perfect, some of the best food I've ever had. The recommended wine pairings added positively to the experience.
The chef came by and took time to chat with us and make sure we were fully enjoying ourselves. He seemed to know quite a few of the other diners, even those who were from towns over an hour away. Definitely worth a trip, highly recommended! read more
