Yet le 29 is excellent all around with friendly efficient staff and a 24.5 euro menu that is a good deal with excellent appetizer, entree and dessert choices. There is also a cheaper 17 euro menu or plenty of à la carte choices. Reservations is a must. We arrived at 12:30 for lunch and were lucky enough to get the last table available. The place was packed and I will not take that gamble next time around. All the dishes we ordered were all perfect. Can't remember last time I had such a perfect seafood meal in such a relaxed setting.

Our view from our suite was spectacular with sweeping views of the canal! The hotel itself is beautiful both on the outside and on the inside. A gorgeous sun filled atrium with a high glass ceiling, fabulous artwork and very chic decor. Our room was huge and the decor was beautiful, accented with gorgeous furniture and our bathroom complete with the quintessential "French" tub (loved it). We had a lovely continental breakfast delivered to our room in the morning. My only 2 gripes were the parking garage that was a nightmare to get out off once we parked the car. We checked in after 9pm and the garage was not well lighted and we could not find our way out! It also does not connect to the hotel so we had to lug our heavy luggage out (we'd been traveling for over a week, Otay), in the dark. Lol. And second, for such being rated as the top hotel in Sete, there were no luggage racks nor anyone to help us with our luggage. We also wanted to dine at the hotel restaurant which was highly recommended but to our dismay everything in Sete shuts down by 11pm even on Fridays and Saturdays! Next time we will just have to arrive earlier and carry less luggage. All in all, it's a must stay when in Sete!
