I had no idea this was one of the refuge sites during the Paris attacks. It was surreal eating at the bar and imagining the pandemonium that occurred during the attacks. The menu is completely in French. It's affordable. The cheapest item is 10 euro. If you enjoy Vietnamese bun thit nuong, or the vermicelli bowls, this is a great choice. The rice noodle used is more akin to banh hoi. It's very fine. The rice noodle bowl isn't quite like traditional vietnamese noodle bowl, but I don't think that's necessarily the restaurant's vision. The ambience is lively and very poppin' lol. Luckily I dined alone so I was able to easily score a seat.

Nice small cozy place. Got the rolls and the soup with veggies, but I should have figured that veggies literally mean lettuce.... The soup flavor was ok, I just wish there was something else in it other than broth, noodles and lettuce. My friend's bobun was quite decent though.

I popped into the Petit Cambodge for lunch and loved it! I had heard so many great things about this place and was stoked to finally have a moment to check it out. I had the Bobun Spécial (12 EUR) and it was delicious. It was extremely filling. The service was wonderful, and I love the simplicity of the place. I suggest getting there prior to 13:00 if you're going for lunch because boy did it get crowded!

I came across this restaurant due to its proximity to Helmut Newcake (the best gluten-free bakery ever.) And any dining experience that involves drawing -- I'm into it. (You write your order on a notepad, just asking for artistic embellishment.) I love that they have vegetarian options and a very convivial atmosphere. Would have liked more peanuts on my bobun, but alas, you can't win 'em all. I totally recommend. Not the best bobun in the world, but all the factors collectively make for a yummy and enjoyable time.

We found this restaurant by chance as a referral from our hosting air bnb but the food was very delicious. We ordered the Bobun special, one beef and one shrimp. The portion sizes are filling and the waiting staff very friend even for those who French may not be their first language (us). This was my first time trying this particular dish but I would definitely go back a second time. The special includes a type of spring roll that is mixed in with the vermicelli, there is also fresh mint, carrots, and salad mixture that adds to the flavorful dish. I did prefer the beef special over the shrimp just because the beef was more flavorful but this place is definitely worth trying.

Le Petit Cambodge is located near the Canal St Martin, and it is frequented by many Parisians... so much so that there is often a line. It gets crowded for lunch and dinner, so I'd recommend going a little early or deal with waiting. I, admittedly, do not have much experience with Cambodian food, but it does remind me of Vietnamese. I went on the recommendation of a friend to try their "bobun", which I really liked. The concept of the resto is fairly neat - take a seat, read the menu, write down what you want, and wait. To pay, go up to the cashier (caisse) and tell them your table number. That said, I have now eaten here at least 3 times. I also tried their noodle dish, which reminds me of pho. My favorite is sill the bobun especial avec crevettes (shrimp). Bonus: It's about the only place that I can get a quick (not fast food), affordable (about 13E/each) meal.

This place was great! I never ate Bobun before, but I honestly loved it! Make sure you get Pork! The service was great. The waitresses here are super sexy (you know who you are ;-) ) But their sexiness has nothing to do with the great service and their cool vibes. Definitely an experience that should be had in Paris :-) I never had Cambodian food before, so its safe to say that this is the best Cambodian I ever had ;-) Although you might find your self waiting outside for a while... which is weird because the meal seems to go by SUPER fast.

Best beef bobun with spring rolls

BEST bobun ever !! I've never been to cambodia so I can't comment on the authenticity of this place but it is the best bobun I've ever had in my entire life. I think maybe it's mean to appeal more to the western taste and i LOVE it. Started with the shrimp spring roll which is super fresh. A little bland without the sauce, which is expected. My main I had the normal bobun and oh.my.god. A-MAZINGGG. The beef is marinated in the most fantastic way, the portion is huge, and everything mixed together is just beauty. I could have done with a little less sauce at the bottom because it became almost like a soup near the end, so maybe next time Ill ask for sauce on the side and add it as i want. The fried spring rolls that come with it were okayy, not that great, but a fun addition (bitt on the oily side). I saw quite a few people order the curry which looked great, so needless to say i'll be coming back here for sure! but get the beef!

    Vermicelli bowls- beef and shrimp

Had a nice hearty meal! The vermicelli bowl was lovely. The noodles are very thin and delicious. The flavors aren't as strong as I had with Cambodian foods I had before but I think I liked it better this way- more subtle flavors as I have experienced with most foods in Paris. The meat (beef) was also great- reminded me of Korean bulgogi.

So....6 gyoza are €12.90 (ouch) but the worst part is that they're just the frozen kind tossed into a microwave (I mean, it's an open kitchen you can see it). The funny thing about Tafa is I was drawn to it from a visual riding up the escalator thinking it was a noodle dive. Noodles were on the menu but it was far from a dive. The cozy eating eatery had some explosive flavor being produced. Tofu and duck were the choices and we were not disappointed. The duck was moist thanks to the broth/sauce that it and the rice were in. This was the lunch before full on window shopping and a tastier meal could not be had. Both the duck and tofu had generous portions. And again the flavor was epic. I'm not a shopper but I will shop there just to have that meal again. We also had the prawn tempura which was also off the charts tasty with the sauce that was supplied with it. This place is a hidden gem that if you make it to the galleries of Lafayette be sure to check it out.

The place was incredibly busy, and I was offered a seat at the bar. Water was served immediately, and handed a delightfully single page organized menu! Service was very attentive. I ordered: Aperol Spritz- which is the best one I have ever had! Edamame-as a starter. Veggie Ramen And mochi for dessert. The Ramen came out first which I was puzzled by, asking if I had ordered the edamame and a female waitress said yes it was on its way. She handed me an oversized bib to wear while eating my Ramen. It was absolutely adorable with fun graphic on the front. There were 3 different sauces you can add to heighten the spice of the ramen. And oh my heavens it was so good! Completely fresh ingredients.. a mountainous amount of veggies (no skimping here!) and all for 10€! Impressive! I couldn't finish it all, with the edamame arriving shortly after... but still managed to order dessert. Two mango + 1 cacao mochi. So darn good. I left incredibly happy, and full, and importantly with a smile on my face. Both the waitress and bartender/manager Thomas thanked me for coming in all with smiles! I will definitely be returning my next trip to Paris! I want to try the fish bao! And other cocktails that looked enticing!
