What can I say! Of the 14 days of my Paris visit, 5 days I did not eat there, because it was…read moreclosed on Sunday and Monday and the May 1 holiday! There was an ongoing joke about "small portion" desserts, which are anything but! I have been coming here for 5 years since discovering it passing on the 2234 bus taking me to RER A. Luckily, I now belong to the Clean Plate Club because the spousal team will not let you leave anything on the plate, which is impossible anyway, as everything is cooked to perfection and absolutely the best meal(s) you will have anywhere in France. Take your time and enjoy, you will be craving more and looking forward to the offerings handwritten on a small blackboard, updated everyday with seasonal and their garden delights. I can't even say enough about the wonderful experience we had. Our party consisted of four and we all ordered a variety of dishes so we could sample each of the meals. All of the food was amazing.. However, the most wonderful part of our dinner was meeting the husband and wife owners. They made our dining experience magnifique!! They were charming, funny and by the time we left we ended up feeling like we were family!! I can honestly say I have never had a more unique and attentive service. Just a wonderful authentic French restaurant, fantastic food and an overall amazing experience.

This was not a very friendly Avoid at all costs!…read more Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely unacceptable. We came as tourists in France, hoping to enjoy a simple evening with family, but instead were treated with shocking rudeness and hostility. From the start, the woman working there (possibly the owner, medium height, black hair, very thin) did not act like she wanted to help or serve us. For example, when one of us asked to get another Orangina, her response was dismissive and rude--"another??? what do you want?"--instead of the basic courtesy you would expect in any restaurant. Later, when one of our family members brought food from elsewhere (something we didn't realize wasn't allowed), instead of calmly explaining, she immediately began yelling at us in an aggressive and humiliating manner. Her tone was not just unprofessional--it was hostile. When we decided to simply take our food to go and leave, she chased after us outside, shouting, "What's the problem?!" in a threatening way, making us feel unsafe. Other customers looked uncomfortable as well, as her behavior was not only directed at us but created a negative atmosphere overall. It wasn't the restaurant itself--it was her. She clearly did not care about her place, her business, or the people trying to enjoy a meal there. This wasn't just bad service--it was a complete lack of respect for customers. We left shocked and deeply disappointed. If management cares at all about their reputation, they should seriously address this behavior. Until then, I strongly caution others against going here.!!! ‼‼‼‼‼ I would not like to put any review stars at all !! Does not deserve any !! ‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼

What does one do when they have a layover in Paris on a cold rainy night when they are staying by…read morethe airport? Well, the turn to their trusty Yelp app and search for the best restaurant. Lucky for me, I was able to locate Madame est Servie in the little village center of Roissy, about a 10 min Uber ride from my hotel. The vibe is funky casual. They have a small but good wine list with great value. I had a glass of Rose Champagne and a Bordeaux for under $25 Euros. The same at a 2-3 star in Paris would be about $60. I highly recommend the Foie Gras ravioli and the Entrecote steak, served with a side of roasted potatoes and a small salad to minimize the guilt. Desserts looked good but I was too full to indulge.
