I'm so surprised this café doesn't have more reviews. It's the biggest coffee shop I've been to…read moresince moving to Bordeaux and the owner is such a sweetheart. I've only been here twice so that goes to show that this place made an impression on me. The first time I had an iced mocha which I was very, very happy about considering iced coffee is not a big thing here. I asked the man what was the difference between regular mocha and the viennoise and apparently it's just the whipped cream. Yesterday I took a friend and I got an iced matcha with a raspberry cheesecake and he got a cappuccino and the items were very presentable and IG worthy. There's free wifi and plenty of space. They even have an upstairs section. I'm here for a whole year so this place will be one of the places I spend a lot of time at!

I got a mocha viennoisse which was 4.5 on its own We were not sure what that was but coffee, chocolate and lots of whipped cream on top. Very rich chocolate and I should have stirred more but that was hard to do in the beginning. Pancakes were good. So good for the start of the day. Nice photos on the wall downstairs and soeclectic Decor.

Two people were kind enough to make room for me at one of the tables. I ordered an espresso and yogurt (I wanted to eat light that afternoon) which on top had fresh fruit sauce layer and on top of that broken pieces of hard caramel, not sure, but it was amazing, maybe not for my teeth. The woman across from me raved about the cheese cake, proclaiming it to be one of the best she ever had.

We had a cappuccino and chai tea latte to drink. They promptly provided water for the table. The eggs benedict with bacon and the savory pancakes were excellent. It was a great full breakfast on our last day in Bordeaux. Enjoy!

My group and I entered and were hit with warm air as my glasses fogged up immediately. It was nice to get out of the cold for a bit. We fin a seat in the back corner and wasn't sure if it was like the USA where you order up front or if it was more of a dining experience... A worker gave us a menu, and we waited... not sure if they would come by to take our order.... So we went up to order with another worker but didn't have to pay until we were about to leave. Kind of a confusing experience. I got their Matchagato, and my boyfriend got their Affagato. The two were so cute and delicious! We definitely preferred the affogato a lot more as the coffee was really strong with the mixture of the vanilla ice cream. The matcha was good but didn't have a nice intense flavor like the coffee. We also ordered their best seller cookie: salted chocolate chip (I believe). Delicious! Lots of chocolate with the salt balancing the sweetness. Great texture as well. A cute little cafe. I see more people ordering their other matcha drinks via Google so they must be known for matcha here. They also have seasonal special drinks such as pumpkin spice latte in November/December.

If you need a break from Bordeaux's small, Dixie cup sized coffee servings come here and get your matcha/coffee fix. I do however need to dock a whole star because the barista said I wasn't allowed to use my laptop indoors after midday even after I paid for a drink. What kind of rule is this? Newsflash: people go to coffeeshops to get work done too not just drink coffee and leave. Sorry SIP but this rule will impact your business.
