    Me and my purchase
    Taniesha H.

Im such a procrastinator when it comes to gift giving. It's not that I don't care, my brain just files (locks) away important info like birthdates, upcoming plans and special events! Basically, it stores this stuff away in a very very secure (nay...secret) place . Enter LeMarche...the gem of the BayArea!!! Both the owner and manager are so friendly and are always there to guide me toward the appropriate (last min) gift! They have snacks, clothing, accessories, and stuff for home from all over the world! On my last visit, I was able to shop their "instore" section on the website, pay in advance and pick up in store! (They even had it wrapped for little ole me!). The Manager (Jen) was so helpful and let me try a few of the room sprays I had in my cart Even though I wasn't ready to buy! The store is always clean too! Oh, and the best part? Brandi (the owner) has a system that lets you rack up points towards money off future purchases! Shop online or instore but do yourself a favor and check The Marketplace out!! Stop by Le Marche and tell me what you think!!!

I have visited the store several times and I have left with something every time! I love how welcoming the staff are and how they are very helpful and attentive. If I had a question about any of the clothing, accessories, or products they were always able to answer them and also recommend which one was best for me. If you haven't visited the store it's a must! I guarantee you will leave satisfied with your purchase and your experience!

This place is OK. I say that because it is the smallest Nordstrom rack I've ever seen, and…read moretherefore it doesn't have a very large selection of things to buy. Usually in other places when I come across a rack, I can spend hours perusing the store . This is not my first time coming here to buy something. However, I noticed that every time I buy something I leave empty-handed. The most successful thing I have managed thus far is to return some thing without any problems. But I could've done that anyway. The selection isn't fantastic. It isn't comprehensive. And right now I'd rather go to Emeryville and risk actually finding some thing I can buy, rather than come here and look around. Actually, I'd actually go to an actual Nordstrom store because I know they're gonna have what I want. It may not be at the price that I want, but it will be there!

Last night, 12/16/25, I was very disappointed with my experience at this store…read more I was looking for hosiery and asked a staff member who was restocking if they carried thigh-high tights. The associate responded with visible irritation, looked at me as though I was inconveniencing her, and handed me knee-high tights in a dismissive manner while saying, "Is this it?" I clarified that I was looking for thigh-highs, not knee-highs. Rather than engaging further, I chose to walk away. When I reached the checkout area, there were only two employees present. One was assisting a customer with an issue that ended up taking approximately thirty minutes to resolve. The other cashier was juggling a long line, around seven customers, while also helping someone who had returned to the store to have a security tag removed from their purchase. Eventually, the associate handling the unresolved issue asked for help from a manager, Joey. I assumed this was to assist with ringing up customers and reducing the growing line. Instead, the associate explained she was unable to provide a gift receipt despite trying multiple solutions. Joey, the same manager who had been dismissive during my hosiery inquiry, responded rudely to her employee, gave her an unpleasant look, and instructed her to repeat steps she had already attempted. Rather than stepping in to resolve the issue herself, Joey walked away entirely. As a customer, this was shocking to witness. The associate had been trying to resolve the issue for thirty minutes, and as management made no effort to take over, support their employee, or acknowledge the long line of customers who had been waiting patiently. Instead, the associate was left to try the same unsuccessful steps at multiple registers. Management showed no awareness of the situation on the floor, no urgency to assist customers who had been waiting for an extended period, and no respect toward their own staff. Especially during a busy weekday evening and the holiday season, this lack of leadership and efficiency was unacceptable. Nordstrom Rack, effective management should be able to read the room, support employees, and keep the store running smoothly. Experiences like this negatively affect not only customers but also staff morale, and ultimately reflect poorly on the company as a whole.

New store in Hilltop Mall…read more 3 stars because I did find 2 things I like at this store. Upon walking in the store looks a lot less crowded from when Forever 21 was in this space. The decor & lightning and pretty much store set up is the same. What I bought: Jean: $26.99, super comfy, blue jeggins, cute rhinestones on the pocket. Pink top: $5.99, cotton/spandex, puff at the sleeves, not the best quality but the color is cute and feel is soft. Garage Sale: You will find things on sale from the already given sale price they have on their clothing, all sales are final; absolutely no return or exchange, so make sure you love it before you buy it. This store seems more like a rainbow discounted plain shirts and jean place with a few gems here and there but overall it seemed bland to me, not eye catching to me. I think it is a good place for teens because of the affordable prices. and more casual sporty feel of clothing. quick note: I did not see much of accessories if any at all except a few rings on the counter, however I have no idea how long this store been open to begin with. **14 days only return for store credit or exchange only**

When I told the cashier I had to exchange the dress, she just started throwing questions at me like I was in court accused for a crime. She asked me if was stupid enough to check the dress before buying. This behavior shows the immaturity of doing business and treating customers. By the way I wish I could've given 0 stars if Yelp allowed me to. ~Wumbo Starts With W.
