Located in the heart of the village yet peaceful, the Auberge offered us a nice suite with living…read moreroom, bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. Everything was recently renovated and nicely furnished. The restaurant, located across the vine-covered patio, offers fine local cuisine and friendly service.
Our one-week stay was a very good deal. Virginie was welcoming, attentive, and efficient. Even though the Auberge serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we were welcome to bring our own breakfast and wine to the patio and to enjoy the terrasse alongside the restaurant's guests.
Exploring the Périgord Noir with quiet and unassuming Siorac as a home base was fun, both in our rental car and on our rental bikes, which the Auberge stored for us at the end of each day.
A low-key, welcoming, home-like place with nice rooms and excellent food. Warmly recommended.
