The starter had such great flavor that I used the fresh bread on the table so that I could get every last drop. The fish was expertly prepared with the flavor of the cod dominating yet enhanced by all the other flavors on the plate. Dessert was insane, just the fact that decorum dictates that I not have two is the only reason I stopped. With one small and one large carafe of wine and one large bottle of Pellegrino we were just shy of €70. Worth every cent, I'm here for another 8-9 days so I will definitely be back.

They only offer certain dishes of the day with a 22€ set of three courses. The guy was very nice to explain to me in English what their courses of the day were. They offered two choices for appetizer, four for entree and four for dessert. I also added a glass of wine that he recommended. The appetizer was very tasty and served quickly. Then I had tripes with meat and pepper fillings and lamb feet in tomato sauce for entree. Very delicious. However, the lamb feet skin was covered in tiny hairs that weren't cleaned. I asked him about the hair and he simply responded "it's lamb feet" so I suppose that's the way it should be? The dessert was raspberry with cream on top. Although it's taken from the fridge, they still gave it a nice plating. In general a good meal. Maybe next time I'll still visit.

It was cooked properly. My wife's lamb was also well prepared. The deserts are over the top. One of the highlights of the meal. Avenio is a nice choice for a finer dinner in Avignon.
