Prix fixe menus available, either entree or dessert with plat principal or all three together. They have a great charcuterie board, wonderful terrine, and various other starters such as herring. For mains there are a lot of Lyonnaise staples like andouillette, sabodet, rognons de veau, etc, as well as poisson du jour and entrecôte du boeuf. Typical desserts, sorbet (the pear is great), crème brûlée, and the cheese plate of course is wonderful, which is served with a salad. Highly recommend reservations, it's a busy place but the service is always great. The ambiance is classic French, close seating, quaint with drawings on the walls of art you'd expect to buy walking by the Seine in Paris. If you ever find yourself in Versailles you really should consider dining at Le Bouchon du Marche.

She did accommodate our lack of the language but it seems we paid for it in terms of attitude. Maybe it's a french thing? Food 4 stars - this was a solid 4 stars. Wife had sole which was as well prepared as she has ever had. Fantastic. I had a very tender and well cook steak. Our drinks were well prepared and the wine was perfect. Desert was excellent. All in all, this is not a 3 Star by any measure. Don't understand why it was rated this low. It almost kept us from going. Don't let it.
