If you have an attitude problem, perhaps being a bouncer at a club is not the proper career path for you. I am disgusted that Happy Fish condones misogynistic, fatphobic speech. It should not matter, but I am medically underweight and in eating disorder recovery, and so his name calling was extremely hurtful and damaging. Regardless, I will never be returning to this club and I would be disappointed in anyone who chose to support such hateful speech.

It's a decent bar with pretty much everything you would expect at a decent bar in the downtown core. They have a dance floor and play top 40 songs for the most part. They have a standard patio, and that's about it. Nothing bad, nothing too good, just a bar with a crowd that ranges from 20-25. This is the place to go to when there is a big line at your favourite watering hole.

Mansion keeps almost everything Heaven had for a venue: fair-sized dance floor with huge video screen/light show, and second-level balcony and bar overlooking it. There's now the oh-so-common VIP bottle service in a nice area on the second floor. And they've changed the music to be more mainstream dance, leaning towards more R&B and mashups. As is usual for UMM bars, the staff are attractive and friendly. The Saturday night I was there, the place was pretty full, with the typical young Ottawa dance crowd. Cover and drinks struck me as average in price. I enjoyed myself, and would recommend it if the music is to your tastes.

The music was unreal--like stepping into a time machine. Classic tracks from our era, all with a modern twist. It was nostalgia on full blast.
