You get to finish your plate without being too full, or having the need to force yourself to finish. For $10 you can get starter + main dish and a drink. Perfect place for lunch or for a casual date. Late at night the place gets too crowded though. Overall it's a great place the food is good.

The Drink is a bar in Ottawa that thinks it is a lounge in L.A. don't believe me? Check out their…read morewebsite. It's odd seeing as the bar itself is easy to miss if you aren't looking. Across the street is the Honest Lawyer, which is much more flashy, and beside it is a hardware store. Like I said easy to miss if you're not looking too hard. We live in reality so I'll try to keep this review in reality. The Drink is not a bad bar, but it is sold as an upscale place. It isn't. It is an average bar in an area where there are numerous average bars. The size of The Drink is pretty average in comparison to the rest of the bars around. It isn't small, but it also isn't a multi-floor place like Pub 101. Inside there is a lot of wood and a bar in the middle. It's a decent bar with pretty much everything you would expect at a decent bar in the downtown core. They have a dance floor and play top 40 songs for the most part. They have a standard patio, and that's about it. Nothing bad, nothing too good, just a bar with a crowd that ranges from 20-25. This is the place to go to when there is a big line at your favourite watering hole.

For being the first club i've ever been to in Ottawa Id have to say 2/10!…read more 1 point for the good music. 2nd point for cheap drinks. Other than that, compared to Toronto clubbing this is SHIT! The club was discustingly decorated.. the only cool thing was their wall of disco lights.. 7$ cover fee.. barley a line.. 5+$ drinks.. didn't get very busy.. free seating.. 2 floors.. Not impressed.. The girl takin cover charge even stole 14$ from my girlfriend! She had to fight for her change back! That took a good 30 min of our night too!

They may have finally found the formula to make this a successful place, after DJ Sleazy D left The Factory many years ago. But I digress... Mansion keeps almost everything Heaven had for a venue: fair-sized dance floor with huge video screen/light show, and second-level balcony and bar overlooking it. There's now the oh-so-common VIP bottle service in a nice area on the second floor. And they've changed the music to be more mainstream dance, leaning towards more R&B and mashups. As is usual for UMM bars, the staff are attractive and friendly. The Saturday night I was there, the place was pretty full, with the typical young Ottawa dance crowd. Cover and drinks struck me as average in price. I enjoyed myself, and would recommend it if the music is to your tastes.
