This hostel is cheap, social, and has good common spaces. I went in June though, and it was terribly hot. There was no AC, and keeping the windows open at night was not enough. I could see everyone in the room sleeping on top of the covers with barely any clothes on. They should install an in-unit AC and raise the cost a bit to drastically improve guests' stay at this hostel. The other hostel I stayed at in Lyon had central AC, so I know this isn't some crazy American standard I have. I liked the drawer lockers under the beds. The communal bathrooms were a good size. I paid 4€ for the breakfast, which was so bare bones that I didn't even want to eat it. There was cereal and hard bread with Nutella. I would've been much happier with going to a bakery. The area it is in is sketchy. read more
