We thought that since they are located…read morein the train station and there are not many café options nearby that they would be less than great. However, I am happy to say we were wrong! I had the salmon picatta which was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy skin. The oil sauce was delicious as was the pairing with the potatoes. My husband got the penne with crispy speck (I don't think that's the official name but it was all I could get out of him) which I tasted and we both thought was delicious. The service was exceptional. While our server did not speak much English she was still exceptionally kind and understanding of us and we communicated just fine. Some of the other wait staff do seem to speak English as well. The espresso was excellent as well. Finally they were very prompt with both the food and the bill, likely a result of being located at a train station where passengers attempt to time their meal with their train departure. I highly recommend this place!

The shop owner was very friendly and accommodating of our limited French speaking abilities. She will grind the beans for you as well. She has many single origin coffees from all the best places, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Costa Rica. It's right across from a grocery store so you can stock up if you are staying in Reims for a while.
