Dr. Hung Le is very nice. The staff are friendly, the office is clean. I would come back again.

I've come here for several years and have had the best experience with Dr. Le, the front office is the issue. They are disorganized and argumentative when you bring attention to their failure and refuse to accept accountability for their mistakes. I had an incident where I cracked my tooth and urgently needed to be seen because of the sensitivity, I already had a teeth cleaning appointment for a few days later and was asking to have my tooth addressed sooner. They responded with a message saying they could look at my tooth and still do my cleaning. From my understanding they would make the appointment longer, they literally intended to "look" at my tooth and still spray water and polish my teeth when I said I was in excruciating pain. There's a lack of common sense and the front office staff Tanya or Tatiana is on of the worst you will encounter. She's adjusted her tone to lower it, but she argues at every turn. It's hard to understand how she's employed. She's hell bent on being right and she is the sole reason I'll be transferring my care. She's unprofessional and attempted to lecture me about how they were right to still attempt a cleaning and how my response to their text message said I wanted the cleaning still. They also overcharged me last year and tried to discourage me from getting over $200 refunded by saying how many steps the process involved. I requested that the refund be started over a month ago and they've failed to do that. Fix your front office! read more

I have been wanting to get my teeth straightened a long time , I considered braces, veneers, and Invisalign. I had a few consults with different providers who all recommend different options. Some extreme such as surgery to correct my open bite , one never even called me back to provide a quote after the consult. I found Dr Le through an Invisalign recommend provider on their site. Dr Le's office was able to see me for a consult and as he seemed confident that he could improve my alignment and was honest about the outcome I decided to go with his office. My insurance did not cover the service so it was all out of my pocket. They required a deposit and set up a monthly payment plan that i could afford over 15 months. They even honored a Yelp check in discount! The process took about 15 Mos and since during covid it helped since i was not going out as much. Dr Le is funny, personable and skilled. His office staff are friendly and the clinic is clean and modern. I have referred a friend and my son to him and will transfer my routine care over to him. I've been coming here for years and although the service has been going down hill since it seems they keep having new dentists rotating in , I've never complained, not even when they forgot to numb my tooth to redo a crown that they didn't put in correctly the first time. After today will be definitely the last , came in for a routine 6 month checkup and cleaning , afterwards they wanted to schedule me for a deep cleaning since I haven't done one there yet and also laser gum treatment all costing over 1k out of pocket after insurance, when I declined the recommendation and just wanted to schedule my next 6 month checkup, they refused and insisted I have to do it and cannot schedule a regular checkup. That's fine, plenty of other dentists in Elk Grove, also after speaking with family about the situation they told me that they were also recommended to do the treatment but were not forced to , family and I will be going to a new dentist. read more

Wow so many issues with the elk grove office. Billing me for services and not submitting to insurance. Upgrading when not neccesary. Billing person obstinate and wouldnt research my billing issues. Dr. Hernandez and assistant couldnt get a crown off. I can go on and on but i will just post my last correspondences and you can see the attitude of dr. Le and the staff. Dr. Le's response to my last nessage: Hi Marc, This is Dr. Le. It's good to hear from you. We will forward the information of your insurance and your explanation of benefit so that your piggyback will be processed your claims accordingly. I also want to reiterate that this is a courtesy service that we provide for our patients and not an expected service. Usually, you would have to do all the insurance billing yourself including the piggyback paperwork. We would hand you the claims and you send them in and chase the reimbursement yourself. We provide this service for your convenience at the cost of our staffs time and efforts. The insurance companies may have misled patients into thinking that it's our responsibility but it is not. We provide the service and we expect to be paid for that service. We are not responsible for chasing your insurance company for our payments. That responsibility lies between you and your insurance company. If you have a problem, it's with your insurance companies and their processes. We work for our patients and not for any insurance company. Our patients pay us the fees and we help you get your reimbursements. The key word there is "help". It's not our responsibility nor obligation. We can just provide you with the claims and you can chase them for the reimbursement. You may not think so based on your reactions, but we usehave to go through hoops to get the insurance companies to pay for anything. It's not in their best interests to make it easy. In my lifetime I have never gone to a dentist where I had to do my own billing for anything let alone piggy back. Never once in you correspondences have you taken responsibility for your office staff's ineptness in billing. You contradict yourself when you say you work for your patients and then tell me i have to bill piggyback. If you were working for the patient your staff would listen to concerns, research them, and follow-up. If you were working for your patients you would ensure that all the billing has been done correctly and the patient did not have to pay any more than insurance allows. The truth is I brought up to your billing person at the elk grove office that I had concerns with the billing on my account and that I overpaid. I was met with no response and a very defensive attitude. Based on your responses to me I am not suprised because that is the same attitude that you have. The fact is that I was absolutely correct. I have been REFUNDED over $500 so far with the claim I am trying to resolve still pending. You office submitted a claim for services performed 10/31/23 at the end of December. Your office required that I pay over $600 the day before thanksgiving. That is money I could have used for christmas. Tell me again how you are working for me the patient. There were gross errors by your staff in the billing on my account. You should be concentrating on that and perhaps taking a class in writing. You letter for an educated professional lacks professionalism and correct english writing. In regards to this last claim pending CCPOA Piggyback sent to your office a request for a copy of the explanation of benefits for the pending claim. I could post alot more. Used to be a patient in this clinic two years ago! When I had my crown redone by one of their dentists forgot her name( woman) she accidetally cut my lower lip was so painful! She wasn't careful as she should! I stop coming to this clinic and my entirely family! One day MA called for tooth cleaning we told her we dont need your services anymore! We found new dentist already! And now this woman name chichi keep calling us bugging us over and over and already told her we dont need your service anymore! It's been two long years passed and yet you keep bugging us! She called my husband, she called me! And still texted me even I keep telling her the same reason to please stop calling! Just went for a first time patient here and they are lovely. Very nice and very good at explaining things to you. Are very nice to answer any questions that you have. Probably the best dentist experience I ever had. Oh and yeah I went in for a first time exam and they were able to bring me back in the same day for a filling. Took my 7 yrs old son in today for a last minute appointment due to swelling on the cheek from his cavities. The experience was not bad for our first visit here since we are new in town. Maddie the dental assistant was super friendly and sweet. After the diagnostic and consulting with Dr. Le on the phone, Dr. Vo suggested extraction on both upper molars since the cavities has gotten too severe for fillings which I was fine and trusted their professional recommendations. But now I'm concern with the dosing of local anesthesia she used as she had to inject my son 4 times since he didn't feel numb after the first two injections. I have read that overdosing on local anesthesia can be life threatening. We ended up only extracting one molar since he still felt pain and screamed after those 4 injections of local anesthesia which is weird. She had to pull it several times before it successfully came out. Now I have to keep an close eye on him overnight for any sign of overdose symptoms. We were referred to a pediatric dental specialist to extract the other molar in later time after his swelling goes away with the prescribed antibiotic. Also wanted to mention about some sanitary concerns I noticed. While performing the procedure, the dentist sneezed a few times turning her head to the side, she then adjusted her mask with her gloved hand and proceed with the procedure by touching my son's mouth with the same glove without changing a new one. Throughout the whole procedure, she was constantly pushing her mask up with the gloved hand and touching my son. With Covid still going around, I hope he didn't get exposed to anything during this visit. Although it was a pleasure experience with the helpful dental assistant, Maddie, I'll have to reconsider about any future visits. read more

I had an extremely painful toothache from a cavity in my wisdom tooth, so I needed to see the dentist STAT! My own dentist office told me they couldn't help because their person who deals with that would not be in till 2 weeks from now.-NotNot Good! I decided to go to Le Dental because my brother recommended them after he heard me in pain. I've been to a few dental offices and my experience has been that they aren't as concerned about your comfort level as they are about making sure you pay them. You ALL know what I mean. At Le Dental I could not believe how good I felt to be in a dental room. Everyone that I talked to were very professional and although I had to get a root canal, I really did not mind it as the Doc and his assistant made me feel as comfortable as possible from start to finish. The office now charges patients fees if they use credit and debit cards to pay for co-payments. The office does not accept personal checks. The office only takes cashier's checks or cash. Cashier's checks are not logical because patients need to know how much they will pay before their visits. How could they bring the cashier's checks with them to their visits? I've been a patient here for several years. The staff is usually friendly but there have been some instances where I've had to side-eye the bureaucracy. This year I have a new, different insurance, and called 2 days prior to my appointment to ask if I had a copay for the scheduled cleaning. The receptionist said no. Finally, something going right in my life. But then come today, AFTER treatment, I'm told it'll be $25 for the fluoride. If I knew beforehand, I would have just turned it down. Luckily for them, my mom has whittled on my self esteem for several years, so I wasn't confrontational enough to say anything at the time--so here I am, writing a terse Yelp review like a real adult in our year 2020. They want your money. But Le Dental, I am so happy with the service I've received and am super impressed with the level of professionalism the entire staff show on a regular basis. Despite my high level of anxiety they are so patient. I appreciate that level of hospitality and understanding. I have to say so far so good for my first time here. My husband had referred me since I haven't had much luck with my dental offices. Dr.Le and his workers has been very kind. Gave me a good explanation of what I need to get done with my teeth and also explain to me that some of my previous work was either bad or was not needed including 1 tooth I had gotten pulled 8 months earlier could have cause me more trouble than leaving it alone. I look forward to my next visit. Hopefully this can be my home in the near future for dental work. I would definitely recommend this office if you had bad experiences in the past. By far the best dentist experience everrr!!!! The staff were all genuinely nice, helpful and caring. I liked every one of them. Delia, the office manager was extremely knowledgeable. She knew exactly what she was talking about when explaining the logistics with me. The following visit she remembered to asked about my husbands insurance because I have double coverage. Darcie, the hygienist, was extremely sweet. I was ashamed with the work that had to be done. She was respectful, and didn't make me feel uncomfortable (like others have in the past). She made me feel super comfortable. She's also friendly and funny too. I love love love Dr. Marina!! She has a super nice, sweet, and calming demeanor. I was nervous but she made me feel at ease. She's very knowledgeable and delicate. She doesn't believe in rushing (no dentist ever should). Today was my first cleaning at this dental office. I love the hygienist Huong. She was very gentle and did a thorough job. The exam with Dr. Le went well. I love Dr. Le and the cutting edge technology that he always brings but....I had a cleaning today (Darcy is amazing - 5 stars) but 200$ and the out of pocket of 30$ when your benefits are 85/15% is exorbitant. Very expensive cleaning when most dental offices are free or less than 10$ out of pocket. In addition, Dr. Le brings talent behind the office door (dentists, hygienist), his front counter is always a 2 out of 5. The price and reception staff make this place 4 stars. My husband and I are senior citizens so we have moved around dentists a lot. Le Dental is by far the best we've been to. The office is so clean and fresh. Staff are amazing; they are friendly, bubbly, and helpful. Dr. Marina (?--not sure about the name) was so detailed and precise. She took care of eight fillings, including my front tooth which other dentists did not want to touch or deal with. She replaced ugly, discolored "metal" amalgam fillings into white shiny ones that don't even look like fillings. They perfectly matched my teeth. At age 61, my teeth now look perfect except of course the molars that have been pulled very long time ago. I wish I could get implants but couldn't afford. Overall, my husband and I are happy and plan to stay with them for a long time. :) read more
