My wife and I both have crown work completed at Prestige. In both our cases it's been detailed and what I would consider challenging dental work. My most recent bridge I actually considered implants and am glad I decided against it. The bridge was way more cost effective. That said the work that is done in this office is so precise that once the crown or bridge is ready to be installed the fit is so precise there are minimal adjustments in office. The bottom line is I hate going to the dentist. The score has nothing to do with their customer service, procedure performance, or professionalism. They could be giving me a foot and scalp massage while working on my chompers and I still cannot give a higher rating. They could put some headphones on me bumping Japanese jazz fusion while cleaning my teefers and I would still be unable to suppress the disdain and discomfort I am feeling. The x-ray procedure is similar to my toddler trying to cram his toy helicopter into my mouth at different angles. I understand that I sound like a toddler, but there are not many things more invasive than someone going into my face cavity and telling me I shouldn't be eating 6 cookies every other day. Surprisingly, ZERO cavities for more than 10 years. I visited Prestige Dental initially for treatment on a single tooth. After the examination, I was informed that the adjacent tooth also needed a filling due to the issue being located between the two teeth. The dentist then mentioned I might need a root canal on the right side--despite me never having experienced any pain there. She quickly changed her assessment, saying a filling might be sufficient, which left me confused. Following the consultation, the front desk informed me I needed six fillings. Three of these had not been mentioned during my time with the dentist, which raised questions about how that determination was made. Even more concerning, I was later told I needed six crowns--something that seemed excessive and costly. I requested my X-rays twice. Eventually, I was told the dentist had re-reviewed my chart and concluded that regular fillings would be sufficient after all. This shift in diagnosis seemed questionable, as it initially felt like they were pushing for more expensive and invasive procedures. During the filling appointment, I was told the decay in the tooth I originally came in for was "too deep" and might require a root canal. I was surprised, as I assumed the X-ray would have revealed that earlier. The dentist proceeded with the filling and said she would "hope it works." This was concerning--I didn't expect to pay for a treatment based on uncertainty. A week later, I returned because the filled tooth had become sensitive to heat and cold and hurt when biting down. The dentist said she wasn't sure what was wrong and referred me to an endodontist she knew. At this point, I had lost trust in the clinic and sought a second opinion elsewhere. At the new dental office, I was shown via X-ray that the previous filling was not properly placed, leaving my nerve area close to exposed. The new dentist explained everything thoroughly and treated me the same day. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Prestige Dental. I found their diagnosis process inconsistent and their recommendations overly aggressive, which led to unnecessary stress, expense, and discomfort. read more

Good ole insurance assigned me here. Not child patient friendly! I needed a crown and decided to have a teeth whitening before it. A "before and after" pic wasn't "necessary" per Dr. But luckily I had taken my own in their office with their lighting. Paid $500 and there was no difference other than added sensitivity. When expressed to staff they said there is no guarantee of shade improvement. Understood, but to remain same shade? Costly for a maybe or not at all improvement. My crown however was a necessity! Proceeded with a crown that at time of permanent fitting wasn't comfortable. I was told it would need "getting used to". Less than 6mo later it came out and had to get re-cemented. Then it fell agian at year 2. These are not to last forever but they were an issue from the start and there was no urgency for them to correct the problem. Both times I needed the re-cement I was meet with annoyance by staff. At the moment, I'm still waiting, 2 weeks without crown for an appt. Needless to say they forgot about me and are not taking responsibility for poor work. read more

Went here once and will absolutely never return. I'm an avid brushed/flosser who has never had so much as a cavity in 48 years, but I was told I wasn't flossing well enough. Thanks doc, but I think I'll stick with what has worked for the past 48 years. Somehow, they pushed a root planing through the insurance company so they could bill for that and collect a co-pay from me. Then declared me a "periodontal" case so that they could have me come in for a cleaning every 3 months instead of 6...again to bill the insurance company. Prescribed me some sort of math wash that they billed to the insurance company, but I had to $20 for the plastic measuring cup...exactly like the one that comes on top of a bottle of mouthwash. $20? Really? Absolute joke. If you want someone who I is going to treat you and your insurance company like an ATM, this is the place to go. read more

This Dentist is not experienced at all. She completely messed my entire mouth up. I went in there for a frontal implant, and she persuaded me to get a bridge. She literally saw down to perfectly healthy eye teeth, left me with the bridge, basically falling out of my mouth and ship the bottom of my teeth after trying to grind those down in the process, but (I did not go in there from my bottom teeth. I went in there for one implant, and she persuaded me to get a bridge and messed up. literally my whole entire mouth when I went back to try to have her remedy this problem I offered for her to fix it without any type of repercussion she denied that she did anything wrong. She would not even take the time to try and remedy the problem I'm left with a bridge that is literally loose. The seal is undone. She chipped the bottom of my teeth and took all of my insurance money and a lot of cash and her receptionist was trying to collect even more funds after it had been set up for payment. This place is crooked, and the dentist does not stand behind her work a good Dentist will stand behind their work a professional Dentist stands behind their work they will have you come in and they will try to remedy what they did wrong. NOT HIDE. People please be careful research the dentist well if you have to look at the reviews reach out to the people ask them because it just seems like a lot of the Denisa stays. It's been years since I got back to the states and I was experiencing a horrible toothache and was suggested by a co-worker to go visit the prestige dental. Even though I didn't have dental records in the States and previous dental experience overseas was not pleasant but the prestige dental helped me, thinking I had a one root canal to discovering I had three and they were so kind enough to relieve me from that pain and not extend the price that eased my financial burden. Beware! This office over-charges and over-treatment plans. Every new patient gets a so called "deep cleaning" but they don't measure the pockets to see if you really need it. The dentist uses a cavitron, not instruments and it's done in less than 30 minutes. They bill to insurances with made up charting so they can get paid. The treatment has to be redone by other dentists because of open margins on fillings and crowns. Be careful, their nice on the outside but their hiding a lot behind the scenes. read more

This dentist is by far amazing. I went there for the first time today and I have to say that I was very pleased. The dentist herself was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The facility was very clean, organized and there equipment was up to date with the new technology . This was the first time I had a pain free cleaning.The staff were also very friendly I was surprised to see everyone still so nice even when it was close to closing. The day was coming to an end and the staff still had smiles on their faces. I have been to 3 different dentists in the last 4 months due to me not happy with how things are run. Well I hate to do it but I did not have a good experience with this dentist. I was not reminded on the appointment by phone call the day prior, I guess that is no longer standard practice. The dentist did the cleaning herself and did not clean the whole lower right quadrant of my teeth. Man I swear these dentists shouldn't even be in business. For all those who speak highly, they either have extremely low standards or are stupid, maybe both. There are plenty of good dentists out there and I will need to upgrade my insurance to be covered by them. I intend on doing that. read more

I am not a big fan of the dentist and have had a hard time finding one that I liked.. I must say though prestige is definitely one of the good ones.. Angela at the front desk is awesome!! She goes a above and beyond to make sure u know u are taken care of.. Wonderful dentist and staff! Dr Hasnain is so sweet, very patient and caring. She always checks that you are comfortable and explains things well so you know what's going on. Her staff is also just as nice, very helpful and professional. They all treat you like extended family and you can tell they try their best for the patients. I like how they are very good at multitasking without making it awkward for the patients by going back and forth between tasks/patients and saving time. The office is very clean and comfortable. I originally started as a patient with Dr Hasnain when she worked with another practice in Citrus Heights. When she opened her own office in Elk Grove, I just had to follow her! The new office is gorgeous and very easy to get to. Her staff is polite and professional. You will never feel rushed or pressured in regards to needed dental treatment.
