It may be difficult to change the name of their restaurant but making a true ramen is really labor intensive. So maybe that's why they don't. Since the closest authentic ramen shop according to Google Maps is Naruto in Aix-en-Provence, Wafu should consider making a legitimate ramen. It would be unique to the immediate area since there seems to be a fair amount of traditional Japanese restaurants including sushi shops. Avignon deserves a true ramen shop, not something masquerading as one. In the meantime, if you have the time and the ease of traveling to Aix-en-Provence, I highly recommend going to Naruto. Their ramen is excellent especially for ramen offered outside of Japan.

However, the highlight was our shared entree, the summer rolls (Les roulettes printemps), topped with chopped peanuts and served with a delicate sweet sour spicy vinegar dipping sauce. Basically you cannot pick the 4 person table if you have two people only. I start with Bai Saigon Beer. It is interesting beer. They also have complimentary shrimp chip.
