As a designer, I am very picky (and to be honest, also very critical) when it comes to event presentation and visual design. She took care of even the smallest of details for her beautiful booth at the event, to me representing not only her impeccable work but her dedication to make anything she does memorable, and making it stand out from the rest. Francesca created a detailed itinerary that took us from Florence to beach town Forte Dei Marmi, followed by the castle at Porto Venere where I proposed on the rooftop of the church with panoramic views of the rugged La Spezia coastline. After my girlfriend said "yes" (the best part!) we had dinner at the amazing restaurant underneath the castle. Because it was off season the restaurant was closed. But Francesca worked with the manager to open the restaurant just for us. Our table was decorated beautifully with flowers and candles while the doors of the restaurant were opened so we could experience the moonlight glittering against the waves as we dined. The entire day was captured by renowned photographer Thomas Harris (www.thomasharris.it) who, in addition to being an amazingly artistic photographer, exhibited an oscar worthy performance by pretending to be shooting for an Italian tourist magazine as he shadowed our every move. Fortunately for us, Dorin's travel plans fell through so he was available on such short notice! We had a great time exploring Florence as we took pictures. It was fun being silly, and loving while Dorin snapped away. He also helped us loosen up whenever we got tense or nervous. Honestly, having Dorin there to capture our special moment made our trip to Italy that much more memorable! Thank you Dorin for your talent, gift, and great sense of humor! The restaurant itself is in a renovated greenhouse with lots of exotic plants throughout the restaurant. Great music and it is open until 2 am so the later it gets the more it turns into a club! The food was also incredible every single thing we got was 10/10 amazing. Great cocktails too and the owner was so sweet and gave us free drinks! Would highly highly recommend!

This helped put us at ease. Mollie was also super flexible in where the photoshoots took place and researched what we were looking for to help find the perfect locations, near our accommodations. The locations she chose were spot on for what we wanted and really resulted in exactly the pictures we wanted to immortalize our honeymoon. We knew that we were taking a risk choosing someone that we didn't know to take photos of our family. But, luckily, we are very pleased that everything worked out better than we could have imagined. Mollie has an easiness about her that makes the painful job of posing for pictures - just a little bit more tolerable. She was so great with our kids & had wonderful ideas for location, based on what I asked for during our correspondence via e-mail. She was very prompt with her responses via e-mail and was punctual, organized, funny, & efficient during our photo session. But, it is the photos that we received that really tell the story of her amazing ability to take beautiful photos using only natural lighting. How she captured the beautiful light of Firenze... I will never know. I am so glad that we found her and that we now have a lifelong treasured memento to remind us of our fabulous time in Italy.

The new planner hasn't done anything to get our wedding planned and the owner promised our deposit back but she's since turned into a ghost and she refuses to answer phones or refund our money. The only time Rita tavella has replied is to 'assure us' they'll take care of everything and that we also need to send €10.000 to them for a despair in the rooms for our family. We've since found out from local authorities that this is illegal. PayPal cases are pending ti get our deposit back and still No answer from Rita tavella. Do your research on other services in the area and be warned not to do business with Rita and your wedding in Florence. Maybe this review will scare her enough to practice better business with people who are trying to design the wedding of their dreams with their partner. I think losing her staff is a huge sign of what type of business she's running here.
