You can tell they are made super fresh and with love. The meat fondue is so tasty and FILLING. It's also all you can eat, but we didn't get past the first go. The service is also something that makes this place stand out. I've been traveling through Europe for two weeks and this place had the best service hands down. The owner was so friendly, attentive, and funny. 10/10 would recommend and I will be back if I find myself in Brussels again.

The staff is so inviting and we were lucky to grab a table without reservations (but don't follow our cue: call and make a reservation!). Although I have tried fondue dinners before, where you cook small pieces of meat and veggies in hot oil, we opted for the cheese fondue and loved every bite! The cheese fondue is simply bread and a bowl of cheese (with lots of tasty additional spices), but we added a meat board to supplement the meal. Definitely the right choice! Whether a local or a traveler, I would highly recommend Lyly's Fondue for your next meal in Brussels!

I was expecting a lot from a goat's cheese fondue, given my love of the chevre, but the meal didn't quite deliver. The taste was far too mild. We had bread and potatoe to dip in and for some reason a side dish of various presentations of pig. I have only had potatoes with fondue once before and they were served warm. Here the potatoe was cold, which wasn't that good. The service was efficient but not particularly friendly. I would still suggest that this place is worth a look if you fancy a fondue in Lille. I am just being harsh because I know it can be done so much better. When we were here it was very quiet but the fact that he told us we would need to vacate the table before 9pm (rather unnecessary I thought as this gave us 2 hours!) tells me that this place can get very busy (the other reviews back this up). Have an early lunch and go at 7 would be my tip!

After that she ignored us instead of asking if we'd like a dessert on the bill and moved on to make agressive sounds showing again her displeasure. When a restaurant pretends on it's reservation page to be full even though it's empty, things don't look good.

We passed by this place, looks great, smells delicious so we want to come in. Whiteout any explanation the hostes or whatever she was told us we can't eat there till 6pm. So we left, we really loved the menu so we decided to come back. So we did. The blond middle added lady that looked pissed off at her life told us we can't have a meal there ..... no more comments, that's a real poor managed place in the hot spot for this wonderful area. Too bad they are missing customers. I will make sure people who are out of town, out of the country or a different race, will know what to expect!
