I found it to be awesome and if you get the formula meal then you'll eat like a KING for little money. Try all their different sauces! We went with 4 adults and all got different mussels so we could sample more varieties ... that worked well! The address is a little screwy as the name is said to be their address but according to the official city site for Palavas the address for the restaurant is actually their other street (they are on the corner). If you want to get in on the weekend, MAKE A RESERVATION! Closed on Sundays and Mondays for lunch.

I asked my babydaddy WHY it wasn't Michelin starred because it fucking should be! He explained that Michelin stars weren't just about food, it was more about the ambience... whatever. I'll take amazing food over hoity toity decor any day. We went here for dinner and even my picky toddler enjoyed his meal. We ordered most of the menu. The mango "mocktail" basically a ginger mango smoothie was to die for. The appetizer plate (fried) was delicious, my toddler enjoyed it. The duck looked good, the salmon looked good, but my seafood plate was probably one of the best, memorable meals I've had in France in four years. OMG finally seafood in a beach town that isn't shit. We went here for dinner. The place fills up quick and it's very popular so you must make a reservation at noon. Also BYOB because the chef is a really nice black Muslim man. So tall! I strongly recommend any seafood based dish, including the "seafood tapas" a fine assortment of shell fish, fishes in various declination. Each tapas will burst in your mouth like no other. Local fish are subtly seasoned and prepared. Fish in sour cream? fish sauce? Talk to the waiter and let him know about your tastes, he'll definitely give you the best recommendation. Everything is cooked by the owner who fully masterize his art. No need to say much: try it if you have a chance and let me know what you think about it. I always have a bash there!

However the fish served here are perfect. The wines are a bit more pricey then in the average seaside restaurant but they offer a good varieties with AOC labels. The servers were very friendly and helpful (having patience with us, foreign tourist breed). The only little disappointment was crème brule - I have eaten better ones, even out of France.
