When I go to Das Campus with friends, we all order the same thing - Flammkuchen. (In Alsatian - Flammekueche ... in French Tarte Flambée.) Why? Because it's the best Flammkuchen I've ever eaten outside Strasbourg and Alsace. One of the chefs surely had to train in Alsace to know how to prepare Flammkuchen with such care. The crème fraiche and caramelized onions and bacon strips are baked in the oven to perfection. (Hey, who needs pizza anyway?) And even if there is not the cool system of reordering that is a fun part of countryside Alsatian Flammekueche restaurants, I still very much appreciate the authenticity of this Tarte Flambée. Now in addition to all this - Das Campus has Vienna's largest flavored beer selection. You mix it yourself. I especially love the maracuja beer. The soup reminded me of pho soup, and it was a nice appetizer to have while it was cold outside. The roast pork with sauerkraut was my favorite thing. if they have it, get it. Its filling and the crispy pork worked so well with the sauerkraut. They also have edm playing in the background if that's something you like.
