I vacillated between 3 and 4 stars on on this one, as our fish and 'cochon' were both tasty, but neither was quite as amazing as we might have hoped, but the ambiance of the place is very special, and definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something a little different than your typical village eatery. Not sure if they're open in the winter, but when we were there, it was necessary to make reservations at least a day or two in advance. Will go again if we're in the area.

You will not find this hidden gem if you only visit the bigger cities. You need to drive here on…read morepurpose but I can tell you: it is more than worth it!! (Look up: "bib gourmand") We had a truly amazing diner: great flavors, excellent preparation, very very friendly service. You will not be rushed, you can take your time to enjoy all the delicious food but the pace was also good and not slow at all. Tip: give them a call and make a reservation, or can be either quiet but also completely booked. (We counted room for around 20 persons.) They speak a little bit English and we speak a little bit French so that worked out just fine. Last but not least: The pricing is really fair, especially for a Michelin-star-worthy diner.
