We went there for dinner and had a good time. But let me preface this review by describing how I view a meal, if a meal is sex, then the desert is the climax, and let's just say Monsieur Carnot's Viagra wore out by then. I had the chicken in Parmesan sauce and my dad had the braised pork. Both were very good, though asking people to pick between chips and salad seems like a waste when they could include smaller portions of both, but that's more a thing about my preference for both starch and veg. I was the only one to have desert, and a funny thing happened, I ordered a Tarte Tatin, and the waiter din't think they served that, I could say that it would have been better if they hadn't but that isn't really a review. The tart - thickish apple, no caramel to speak of, not even taste, and the pastry was something I didn't get, it wasn't pate brisee or puff, it looked and tasted more like an American pancake. And the overall taste, baked apples, and that's about it, totally disappointed. The reason for the 2 star review: good service, good main (but not extraordinary), and very weak desert. read more
