Pretty hard to find a decent cup in France but these guys hit the hammer on the head. Cute decoration and a variety of homemade cakes and other stuff. The sandwiches are premade, but I guess that's customary in France. We had one that was just made that minute and it was so tasty. Very friendly also.

I had seen recommendations saying this was a calm and quiet place to enjoy a coffee, but unfortunately that wasn't my experience since it was very crowded and noisy when I visited. Great lunch option for Somme Cemeteries and Battlefields…read moreThis is a great spot for lunch if you are visiting the cemeteries and battlefields of the Somme. We stumbled across this little cafe on a Sunday afternoon and we were so grateful to find it open at a time when the rest of France seems to be closed. We had a lovely lunch with a wonderful pot of tea and a great time chatting to owners Alison and Jon who know a lot about the area!

The restaurant itself is cute, the lighting and decor is bright and beautiful, and the service is out of this world. They're the friendliest staff and everyone was so inviting and chatted up every table. The food is scrumptious and they're using fresh ingredients for every plate they churn out. My husband ordered the Triple Madame which is a Croque but with an extra piece of bread and a spicy mayo on the side. The bread was so crisp and sopped up the yolk from the yolk from a perfectly fried sunny side up egg. I ordered the granola with yogurt. Sounds lame but let me tell you that the yogurt was thick and creamy and topped with homemade granola, sliced grapes, goji berries, blackberries, blueberries, and passionfruit. Delicious. Their coffee and fresh orange juice was just as good. Their specialty when we went was a red velvet latte which was months before I saw it on menus back in the states. I can't wait to return to Bruges and visit That's Toast! Please start selling totes though - I asked to buy one that day and unfortunately they didn't sell them. Sadness.
