Smallish bar/restaurant with beautiful, interesting decor. For example, lots of black/white photos…read moreof rock stars, including John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix; an entire small wall of black/white comic/book animé-style illustrations; a bookshelf's worth of wine; framed photos of motorcycles, sneakers, and some artifacts on one part of a wall; an entire shelf behind the wall of empty Jack Daniel's bottles. It's generally got a dive-bar, hard-rock sort of sensibility to it.
I ordered the "Burger Authentique". Supposedly an American burger. As an American, I would say it was not authentic, but it was tasty, and a very good French attempt at an American Burger. Possibly more healthy, too, given the way the potatoes were prepared and that it came with a modest side salad.
The service was friendly, and tolerated my very, very bad French with excellent grace and joie de vivre.
